Windsor Royals Baseball Club

Windsor Royals Baseball Club Brisbane's oldest and most successful baseball club. Compete in the Queensland Baseball GBL Royals players won 4 of the 5 senior leagues MVP awards.

The Windsor Royals Sports Club Inc is a Baseball Club that competes in the both the Queensland GBL competitions (State League), and the Metro Region competitions (Little League and Juniors) in Australia. The Windsor Royals are the current Queensland GBL Major League Champions, and the current QLD GBL Club Champions. The club has teams from Under 8's through to Under 20's in under age competitions

, and 5 senior sides that compete in every QLD GBL competition. The Club also has a junior academy the operates during the regular season on a monday night, open to players aged between 10 and 18 years of age. The home field of the Royals is Holloway Field, located at Spencer Park, Market Street Newmarket, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The facility is known as the official home of baseball in Queensland, and the facility has hosted the Claxton Shield, The Australian Baseball League, International Olympic Teams, and travelling overseas teams. The Club has produced many quality athletes who have gone on to play in;

The regular season runs from September to early April, with sign on being in July. Spring training for senior teams commences at the beginning of August. The Windsor Royals is the second oldest baseball club in Queensland (still operating), has won the most Club Championships (17), and the most QLD GBL Major League Championships (12). The club provides a high standard of training and instructional programs to both junior and senior players, and is very much a family orientated organisation. Way to go!!!!!

The team enjoyed their second Nationals win today, defeating the NT Buffaloes 18–3.

The boys set the tone early and never looked back, combining disciplined at-bats, 14 hits and error-free defence in a strong all-round team performance. Gita’s inside-the-park home run got things rolling, with the entire lineup chipping in as the runs kept coming.

A well-earned result and a great reward for the effort, teamwork and resilience the boys have shown all week. ⚾️❤️💙

What a week our WR players Josh, Tom, Felix, Riley, Zac and Jett had at the Intermediate League National Championships representing Brisbane Metro!!!🤩

The IL team finished the tournament with two wins, two losses and unfortunately two washout days due to weather. Throughout the championship the boys competed hard, represented Brisbane Metro proudly. 🙌

It was fantastic to see the players support one another, embrace the experience and make the most of every opportunity both on and off the field. A great week of baseball, friendships and memories that the boys should all be proud of. ❤️⚾️❤️

What a week at the Intermediate League National Championships for Brisbane Metro.

Our tournament finished with two wins, two losses and unfortunately two washout days due to weather, but the results only tell part of the story. Throughout the championship the boys competed hard, represented Brisbane Metro proudly and continued to grow together as a team with every game.

It was fantastic to see the way the group supported each other on and off the field, celebrated the highs together and kept positive through the challenges the week brought. Most importantly, plenty of fun and great memories were made throughout the tournament.

A huge thank you to all players, coaches, families and supporters who helped make the week such a great experience. We are incredibly proud of the way the team carried themselves and represented Brisbane Metro at Nationals.

Good luck to the Little League Brisbane Metro team who leave next week. ⚾️

The Brisbane Metro Little League side with 6 Windsor Players are QLD State Champions and heading to the LL Nationals next week in Blacktown in Sydney. The tournament starts on June 3, and the winners progress to LL World Series in the USA! To say the kids are excited to attend their first Nationals is an understatement.

Their major fundraiser is a raffle with over 15 prize packs valued at a total of $2000, the best of them is cool baseball gear from our friends at Leading Edge! Please support the team if you can with tickets starting from $5 each!
