I’m Jess, and I run Performance Pilates.
To those who’ve been requesting information about what I offer, I thought I’d provide a little here. ⬇️
I teach Pilates sessions at my boutique Studio in Newham. Everyday. With only four in a class and close attention to detail, form and individual circumstance, these provide real challenge, tangible results and guaranteed improvements in whole body functionality. The hour session allows for full and complete exploration of the repertoire.
I also offer private sessions for those requiring or seeking a highly personalised Pilates experience.
Duet sessions are also available, which are ideal for partners, close friends or colleagues.
Not all Pilates Studios are equal.
I try hard to stay true to the original principles whilst drawing on experience from my time as a high level athlete and as a sports coach, in addition to paying close attention to emerging science and contemporary research. I teach from the heart and greatly value those who I have the pleasure of guiding on their Pilates journey. I became an accredited instructor over 17 years ago but I have not stopped learning or seeking to, and continually strive to improve my class content and my knowledge.
My bookings are taken a month in advance and are all managed online.
To join the Studio, clients must first complete an Initial Consultation with me. This is imperative to explain not only the foundations of Pilates practice, but for clients to familiarise themselves with my teaching style, cueing and attention to detail. The small details often matter the most and can sometimes be missed.
Whilst the Studio sessions are well patronised, if you are interested in joining me, feel free to reach out to schedule an Initial Consultation. Then if spaces arise, you can book in.
I have previously spent many weekends helping riders position themselves optimally in the saddle to assist them in their effectiveness and to aid in the building of body awareness and control. This work still happens very occasionally, but mainly with existing Studio clients.
I also tailor video classes for people unable to make it to the Studio. These are personalised and relevant to the individual.
I run an online video library including the popular Rider Revolution in 4 weeks online course, where riders can discover how to build body awareness and strength for riding simply using their own body weight.
I also developed the Seatseeker stability balls, which are a brilliant tool for riders and non riders alike.
