⚡️ MILESTONE ALERT ⚡️

Today, Charlotte Monaghan takes the court for her 100th game with Newcomb. An incredible milestone and a testament to her commitment to the club.

A true Newcomb person, Charlotte has always put the club first, often playing outside her age group throughout her junior years so she could continue wearing the Power colours. From progressing through our junior program to making her debut in our senior E Grade side last season, and now being an important member of our Under 19s squad, Charlotte’s journey is one to be proud of.

Reaching 100 games is a fantastic achievement for Charlotte and a wonderful reflection of our junior development pathway. We love seeing our juniors grow, develop, and continue their netball journey at Newcomb.

This Saturday at Grinter Reserve, we celebrate a special milestone as Jack “Dukey” Duke runs out for his 300th senior football game.

Making his senior debut as a 15-year-old in 2004, Dukey’s football journey has taken him across both country and metropolitan Victoria, representing stawellwarriors, greatwestern.fnc, oldcamberwellfc, beaufortfnc, avocafootballnetball and, for the past four seasons, Newcomb Power.

Along the way, he has built an outstanding football resume, including premierships, Best & Fairest awards and league leading goal kicking honours. More importantly, he has earned the respect of teammates, opponents and supporters wherever he has played.

We caught up with his wife Jess and asked what this milestone means to her:

“300 games is a huge feat. So many painful Sundays, and somehow you’re still smashing it. Congratulations, Arthur and I are so proud of you!”

We invite all former teammates, friends, family and supporters to join us this Saturday as Newcomb takes on Torquay and help celebrate this incredible achievement. Be there to see Dukey run out for game number 300 at 2:10pm, then stick around after the game for food, drinks and celebrations.

⚡️ JUNIOR FOOTBALL RESULTS ⚡️

What a fantastic weekend for our junior footballers!

Under 10s defeated East Geelong under lights, 46–21.

Under 9s had a great win over Ammo’s at Queens Park, 45–35.

Under 16s were outstanding against Ammo’s at Queens Park, running out winners 75–6.

More importantly than the scoreboard, we are absolutely loving seeing our junior footballers enjoying their footy, building friendships, developing their skills and having so much fun each week. The enthusiasm, teamwork and smiles across our junior program have been amazing to watch, and these results are a great reward for the hard work being put in by our players, coaches and families.
