ABOUT OWNER OF AIR SPORTS NEWCASTLE, TONY BARTON:
Air Sports Newcastle is owned and directed by Tony Barton. Born in American but now an Aussie, he has been flying vigorously since 1978 and received his Instructor and Tandem rating in 1986. He was the United States National Hang Gliding Champion and Points Champion for 1990 and 1991. Tony flew as a member of the U.S. World Hang Gliding Team for six years, during which they won the World Championships in 1993. His love for flying has taken him many times around the world, happily sharing his passion and experience with others.
