Well, that’s Season 25/26 wrapped up.

I may not always show it, but I am incredibly proud of these three boys. They’ve trusted me, trusted the process, and most importantly, they’ve stayed committed.

Because the process isn’t just for one season… it’s for life.

What they showed today went far beyond competition. They showed maturity beyond their years, mental toughness, resilience, and the courage to simply do what makes them happy. That means more to me than any result ever could.

Watching their growth, both as athletes and as young men, makes me unbelievably proud. We may have fallen a little short today, but setbacks are part of the journey, and I know this is only building something bigger. We’ll come back stronger, hungrier, and better than ever.

And a massive shoutout to Jace on an incredible new PB, an unreal effort and so well deserved!!!

The future is bright for these boys, and I’m grateful to be part of the journey.

Hammer boys (Noah, Jace & Jacob) wrapped up their last high-volume session today, 10 days out from Nationals 💪

The work is done. From here, it’s all about refining, sharpening, and locking things in this week before we hit the road next week.

🔥 MEET PENNY 🔥

Penny is an absolute weapon in the middle-distance events, and under the guidance of Vanessa Price, she has exploded onto the state scene 💥

But when she’s not out there tearing up the track, you’ll find her at Rip ’N’ Tear stepping into the discus circle… and it might just be her favourite event!

Like all good athletes, it doesn’t always come easy. There’s been moments of frustration but what stands out is Penny always shows up, resets, and gets back in the circle to have another crack.

That’s what it’s about. Resilience. Effort. Growth.

Running a new lifetime best in the 200m and finishing 19th overall.

To step up at your first state meet and produce your best ever performance shows real composure and belief. That’s how you build momentum.

And a big shoutout to Penny (Coached by Vanessa from Supreme Speed) stepping out in her first State Championships in the 400m & 800m... we hope you heard us all cheering you on! 👏

Hammer Boys Get It Done! 💥

What a result for the Rip ’N’ Tear hammer crew at the State Championships!

🥇 Jacob – U13 State Champion!
An outstanding performance and a well-deserved gold medal. Huge effort and composure when it mattered.

🎯 Jace – 7th in the State!
Up against a LARGE stacked field making the final and a top 8 finish in NSW. Proud of the way he stepped up and competed.

🥉 Noah – U16 Bronze Medal!
Big throws when it counted to secure 3rd in the state. Even more impressive considering Noah only returned to athletics three weeks ago after two years away from the sport. A fantastic result.

Three athletes. Three massive efforts.
This is what happens when hard work at training meets big stage competition.

Proud coach moment. The hammer program keeps growing and these boys are setting the standard. 💪
