✨ Got a kiddo born in 2018 or 2019 who’s ready to bounce into Term 4 with big energy?

Our U9s Boys & Girls program is all about fun, friends and learning the game in a super supportive club vibe. Games are Thursday afternoons after school — perfect for burning off that end‑of‑day energy.

We’ll form teams, get everyone set up, and make sure your child has an awesome comp full of confidence‑building moments, teamwork and plenty of smiles.

If they love running, shooting, high‑fives and being part of a great community, this is their season.

🏀💙 A huge thank you to Bunnings Wallsend, Bakers Delight Maryland and every single Blue Jays volunteer who helped make yesterday’s BBQ such a success.

It wasn’t just a fundraiser — it was a day that showed exactly what community looks like. We saw little ones with infectious enthusiasm bringing people in and creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.

We saw players, parents and extended families sharing laughs, staying positive and genuinely enjoying each other’s company.

Volunteers gave their time and energy to cook snags, sell drinks and serve customers with care, respect and pride.

A group of teen girls brought joy and a second wind to the afternoon, reminding us how much fun this club can be.

New families blended seamlessly with long‑standing ones, showing how easily people become part of the Blue Jays family.

Yesterday was a reminder that even a modest BBQ for a small suburban club can become something special — a day full of connection, generosity and pride.

🏀 BLUE JAYS BASKETBALL BUNNINGS BBQ — THIS SUNDAY! 🌭🔥

Start planning your next DIY project and make Wallsend Bunnings your first stop this Sunday.

We’ll be there all day with the tongs, serving up traditional Bunnings sausage sandwiches to keep you fuelled while you kick off your weekend projects.

Every snag sold helps support our BlueJays community and keeps more kids on the court.

🐦🏀Under 8s — Join the Blue Jays this Term 3. U8’s are for players born in 2019 and 2020.

New and exisiting players are encouraged and welcome to join!

Games are played Saturday mornings between 8am and 11am, with times varying each week.

Each week includes a skills session followed by 3 on 3 games, with game managers helping kids learn skills and understand the rules.

Blue Jays will work with players to form team. Players are provided a singlet to use for games, which is returned at the end of the final round.

Term 3 Competition Information:
First round Saturday 25 July, Round 7 Saturday 19 September.

Seven weeks of games with no rounds on 1 August and 5 September.

Skills sessions:
Sunday 9 August 9:00am to 10:30am and Sunday 30 August 8:30am to 10:00am.

Cost is $105 plus annual registration fee of $66.

🔥 Blue Jays U8s — what an absolute cracking good time these boys have!

At this age it’s all about development, learning the fundamentals and building confidence, and they’re doing it with huge smiles and even bigger energy.

Every week they’re dribbling a little cleaner, passing a little sharper and understanding the game a little more — but the best part is the pure joy they bring to the court.

The mateship, the high‑fives, the giggles, the “did you see that?!” moments… that’s what makes this team special.

💙💛 Proud of the growth, proud of the effort, and proud of the fun — keep enjoying every minute, little Jays.

🔥 Blue Jays Steelers — we are so proud of these boys.

They play with heart, grit and genuine mateship, backing each other on every possession and showing what it really means to be a team.

From the first whistle they listened, worked together, encouraged each other and stayed locked in, proving that when this group connects, they’re unstoppable.

The way they celebrate each other’s wins, lift each other after mistakes and play for the boy next to them is exactly what junior sport should be.
