INCIDENTS today:
1-overtaking previous finishers in the funnel line was observed today by quite a few parkrunners. If someone tries to overtake you please correct them as it changes your time and position as well as everyone else after that.
2- corner cutting at 1.5k corner traffic lights was observed today also, this put returning runners directly in front of runners still going out and could have ended in collision. We have a cone and marshal there for a reason, please abide by the directions given verbally and physically (cone)
3- an U10 runner without an adult superviser in direct proximity had an issue that required another regular to stay with her for quite a while. This is against one of parkrun's basic rules - for very real safety reasons. This has been reported to HQ as an incident. ALL U10 parkrunners MUST BE DIRECTLY SUPERVISED BY THEIR OWJN ADULT.
4- Lots of lost property today, please check the previous post for the photo
5- NO TOKENS WERE LOST TODAY - congratulations!!! One very very happy token sorter!
Visitors today were from: Wynnum, Gawler, CooksRiver, Coombs, Gungahlin, Christies Beach, Willow, Armidale, GreenWay, PointHutPond.
