🦘Friday classes 7.15am 8.15am and 9.30am DEEP

🦘Sunday classes 9am DEEP and 10.15am Shallow
No booking needed, just aim to arrive 15mins before start times above. All equipment including deep water belts provided.

Anyone want to buy their own Ryalls deep water aqua fitness belt from me? These are the yellow Australian made belts by Margaret Ryalls (Deep Water PRO instructor and Trainer) based in Sydney and made to last.
Note the foam belts are much cheaper but they can be stiff and bulky. Plus they can make you tip forward and over-extend your back and legs (especially in rock roll or tuck and roll).
Too much foam (or buoyancy) in the deep water Belt can make you bob around, and sometimes the foam belts crack at the insertion points protruding out under your arms.
Also everybody has different buoyancy, and just like shoes, YOU should try a few brands and get a feel for what works for you. Try a foam belt and compare it to another brand (ask someone if you could try their belt after class).
If interested in buying your own Ryalls yellow deep water workout belt message me privately on FB and tell me what colour did you use/trial?
Remember the belt sits on the ribs not your HIPS. Your chin should be clear of the water line and shoulders out of the water. Never let your deep water belt come up into your arm pits. Tighten it when you get in the water but don’t let it restrict your breathing. Make it feel comfortable but not tight.
Keep trying different sizes and designs and ask your instructor for help to change a belt (even mid-class). Here’s some tips…spin them round and gauge how it changes your posture.

Join me at Stockton Pool Thursday 13th February 2025 for an early-bird LOVE BOAT themed Aqua Fitness class starting at 7.45am so start boarding/ arriving at 7.30am…⏰ as we aim to depart/START this class ON time at 7.45am.

Note this class time is a one-off early morning time slot as there is a swimming carnival clash with our regular time of 9.30am THURSDAYs. This is a 45min class.

Class cost is $10 plus the Newcastle Pools entry. Note, If weather turns windy and heavy rain at 8am on the day I’ll post a message about cancellation. In light drizzle and overcast conditions we continue the class. Option for Deep water fully suspended (I provide you with a deep water belt)🛟 Any questions about Stockton Aqua fitness message me.

Anyone with medical conditions always talk to your medical professional before starting on a new fitness program, or anyone pre or post surgery👩‍⚕️ This is always worth saying: this is not a rehab session and Aquafitness has changed so be ready for a workout for all generations.
