The coaches. The volunteers. The BBQ legends. The gear carriers. The taxi drivers. The sideline cheer squads. The post-game analysts. 😂 And, most importantly, the ones who are always there backing our young Sharks every step of the way.

From early morning kick-offs to freezing nights at training, muddy boots, long road trips and everything in between - THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO! 👊🏼

Today wasn’t our day, but nothing about that final scoreboard can take away from what this incredible group of girls has achieved.

Our U16WT Sharkettes fought right until the final whistle, leaving absolutely everything they had out on that field. 🦈

Ruby Keogh, Mya Saunders and Ivy Ambler crossed the line for the Sharkettes, with Molly Madden adding the conversion. 👏🏼

From the challenges of the season, to fighting their way through the finals and earning their place in the BIG DANCE, what a journey it has been.

They showed heart.
They showed courage.
They backed each other.
They never gave up.
And they represented the Stockton Sharks with absolute pride.

Grand Finals can give you the highest of highs and the toughest of heartbreaks. Today hurts, but getting here, fighting for that jersey and standing together on Grand Final day is something nobody can ever take away from these girls.

Today we celebrate Coach Linc’s 100th game - a huge milestone built on commitment, consistency and passion.

This year, Linc has also stepped into a coaching role with our U13s, sharing his knowledge, experience and love of the game with the next generation of Sharks. A player, a leader and a true clubman. 🩵

HJRL GRAND FINALS - THIS WEEKEND!

The biggest weekend of the HJRL season is almost here, with Grand Final action kicking off from 9 am this Saturday, 5 September 2026.

Whether you’re at the grounds or watching from home, there are plenty of ways to be part of the action.

Professional photographers will be at St John Oval, Reliable Conveyor Group Sports Ground (Kurri Kurri Sports Ground), Waratah Oval, Cessnock Sports Ground (Baddeley Park), and Pirtek Park (Singleton) to capture the action throughout the day. We’ll share the free photo gallery links as soon as they are available.

WE’RE OFF TO THE BIG DANCE! 💃🏆

WHAT. A. GAME! 🔥

Our U16WT Sharks have booked their place in the 2026 HJRL Division 3 GRAND FINAL after a gutsy 24–18 Preliminary Final win over Nelson Bay at The Reef! 💙❤️

After Nelson Bay struck first, the girls responded in true Sharkettes fashion, digging deep, backing each other and fighting right until the final whistle.

Ruby Keogh was on fire again with a hat-trick, crossing in the 6th, 12th and 31st minutes.
Molly Madden and Mia Eckford added tries of their own, with Molly also slotting two conversions. 👏🏼

From a tough Qualifying Final loss last weekend to getting another shot on home turf today - the hunt wasn’t over, these girls made it count, and now they’re off to the BIG DANCE! 💃🏆🦈

And waiting for them there is West Maitland, setting up a huge Grand Final rematch! 🔥

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE KING OF LYNN! 🦈👑

A massive congratulations to Nick “Nicko” Hor on reaching an incredible 200 League games this Sunday! 🏉

Nicko’s contribution to rugby league in Stockton goes well beyond what happens on the field. He played a huge role in getting the Sharks’ senior club back up and running in 2023 and has continued to lead from the front ever since.

As captain-coach, he’s led the men’s team to four consecutive finals appearances, while giving countless hours to the club and the wider Stockton community.

Our junior Sharks are incredibly lucky to have people like Nicko showing them what it means to pull on a Sharks jersey and represent Stockton with pride, commitment and passion.

Congratulations, Nicko - What an incredible achievement! 👏🏼

🏉 200 GAMES FOR NICK HOR! 🦈

A true Stockton Sharks legend has reached an incredible milestone and will be playing his 200th League game this Sunday! 💙

Nicko has been instrumental in the Sharks’ story, playing a huge role in getting our senior club back up and running in 2023 and helping build it into the club we are today.

A local legend both on and off the field, Nicko has given countless hours to our club and community. As captain-coach, he has led our men’s team to four consecutive finals appearances — a testament to his leadership, commitment and belief in the Sharks.

200 games is an incredible achievement, but what Nicko has given to this club goes far beyond the number on the stat sheet.

From everyone at the Stockton Sharks — thank you, Nicko, and congratulations on 200 games! 🦈💙
