Water is the basis of all life and that includes your body.
Your muscles that move your body are 75% water; your blood that transport nutrients is 82% water
your lungs that provide your oxygen are 90% water; your brain that is the control center of your body is 76% water; even your bones are 25% water.
It has been stated by leading experts in the field of exercise & physiology
Being dehydrated by even as little 2% results in a significant decrease in performance when exercising
You see every energy system within the body is pegged to and reliant upon the constant flow of water
So without enough of it you suffer the consequences
Todays mission objective is to fully hydrate your body everyday from here on out
The formula to work out how much you should be drink each day is
0.033XBW = (kgs)
Example 0.033X 86kg = 2.8 litres
This is the amount of water needed for basic daily function for a 86kg male
If you're exercising vigourously more water will be needed for optimal performance
To keep track of your intake have a water bottle that you take with you everywhere
and know how many times you need to refill it to hit your daily count
