The Winter Warmer triples is an ACT state competition. Congratulations to our 2024 state triples champions Smitty, Adele and Callum

The ACT State Singles was contested today in Canberra Petanque, congratulations to Smitty on his win, and all the competitors on a great day.

The Alexander's mixed doubles competition which is the ACT state mixed doubles championships was contested this weekend.

A fabulous competitive weekend with some high calibre games including a nail biting final with a huge come back.

The 2024 interstate challenge has been announced. This year's ISC will be hosted by the Brisbane Petanque Club to be held on the weekend of 24-25 August.

The ACT Petanque have the option to send two teams and player shortlists will be organised from the ACT state rankings in May.

Day 2 of the Petanque Australia interstate challenge is over. Our team managed to start the day with a couple of good wins against SA blue with Callum/Catherine and Leanne/Seb both recording a win in the opening games. That was as good as it got though, some great games, some terrific pointing and some incredible shooting were not enough to get any more wins on the board.

Huge congratulations to Victoria who win the 2023 competition and to all the players from all the states for a great tournament.

The ACT team are in Newcastle competing in the interstate competition against the best from NSW, SA, VIC and WA.

After the opening day and 5 rounds they have managed two wins with Adele and Graham beating the WA B pairing in the mixed doubles 13-1 and then the ladies Adele, Catherine and Leanne beating the NSW white team 12-7

They are currently placed in tenth with WA A, both SA teams and the Vic White team to play against tomorrow.
