DAN 'THE MAN' DELIVERS FATHERED FORTUNE WHICH COMES TO FRUITION

A pre match prediction from the pundits predicted a walk in the park for the doges in this evenings fixture. Procceedings however took an alternate path with the dogs backed up against the fence in a situation which seemed un-escapeable at a 2-0 deficit at halftime, only to be re-inspired by an act of a real leader. A hero. "WE WILL COME BACK" These were the words spoken by Daniel Masters which skyrocketed the dogs into the most unforseen comeback in footballing history. The man stood there oozing an aura of greatness as he spoke, looking on at the doubters. So this is where our match review kicks off here tonight.

MATCH REVIEW
The doges took to the field for the second half of football with a new hunger and drive. 2-0 down and you couldnt pick it. 5 minutes into the half and frustrations were starting to kick in. Some questionable throw ins from the opposition side werent enhancing the situation. A growing trend from the first half which continued on throughout the entire second stanza. But if its one thing this side have. Its fight, hunger and an almighty ticker and it paid off. A relentless attack where almost all active players on the pitch had an attempt at goal only to be denied until the ball fell at the feet of cabinet connoisseur Jaidyn Lee. He made no mistake in dispatching the chance. Suddenly the dogs were in with a shniff.

10minutes down and the Cane Boad was due to be substituted back into dealings. It took all of about 10 seconds and a pinpoint throw from eden azzard in net, to find the boad in space in the middle of the park. A deft first touch from the brekky burger bandit allowed for a clean strike on goal. And what a strike it was. A Gerrard esk strike which swerved and catapulted in off the apex. A strike which will be shown on the highlights reel at the gardens for generations to come. Just over 4 minutes to go and a shniff turned into a shniff shniff.

This situation was designed for 1 man. 1 man who all that was running through his head were the words 'we will come back', portrayed apon him by the half time inspirer dan 'the man' masters. It was all on the inform schuade and by god did he punish them. A low drive into the bottom right corner sent the crowd into histerics. You cant describe the atmospere in the gardens at this moment. It was a real 'you had to be there' moment. The fans broke out into a cohesive bark. It was unlike anything ever witnessed before.

The referee called for full time and the dogs have shown that the impossible is possible. Another 3 points in the bag and a real squad strengthening display. From this stage there seems no stopping our doges in the unforseeable future.

With an aging squad, the boys are fighting relentlessly to push through the niggles, the bumps and the bruises from the heavy schedule of all age. You can expect a full game from the lahds with several omissions in this weeks matchday squad. M.Rae, D.Masters (suspended), D.C.Laverty (work), A.Billiet (Holiday).
Some young blood have been promoted into the lineup to compensate for some of the leg work which was set to be carried by the Cane Boad. After some crowd backlash, banners of 'omit the mit' are rumoured to be display throughout the ground if mit is named in the starting lineup.
Fan favourite and mr man of the match, Poley, is tipped to be the key man in this fixture.

THE DOGGIES JUMP TO 2ND PLACE WITH AN AMAZING WIN.

The Bulldogs continued their winning form on Friday night with a 6 goal thrashing over local rivals Mayfield Junior FC.

The Dogs started off well with opening goals going to Jacob Rae followed by a dominating header from Callan Stokes who was still partially asleep from his earlier nap before the game.

The Boys were up 2-0 at the half with Daniel Masters commiting a foul and being sent off the field moments prior for bringing back the biff with the opposing striker.

The 2nd half began with the Dogs starting strong. The Captain and Man of the Match for 2 weeks in a row Matt Rae, made sure to lift the boys spirits with his trademark phrase referring the game being back to 0-0. What a Leader.

The Goals quickly followed with Sean Griffiths absolutely burying a goal into the net followed by Jaidyn Lee and Matt Rae scoring two more to lift the score to 5-0.

The Dogs were pushing for a further goal to shoot them up to 2nd spot on the ladder, and a brilliant counter attack by the boys led to a mediocre tap in from Brodie Lee who misplaced it into the top right corner.

Johnny Lee went ballistic on the sideline celebrating the goal with plumes of V**e Smoke covering the ground.

The Dogs make the journey to Tenambit next Friday for the game of the year. 1st vs 2nd who will prevail... most likely Tenambit... but dont let that get in the way of a great game.

The Bulldogs played their catch up game last Friday Night against Toronto who along with the Bulldogs were strap for players.

The Dogs came away 3-1 winners in a exhausting but well fought game.

Marcus made his return to Top Grade football and he did not look out of place, as he made run after run down the side line with his 95 Stamina and 93 Speed traits.

It brought back emotional thoughts of the beloved Rigel Bennett who has left the club on a 2 year loan to Pakenham Cheetahs. Rigel was well known for his over lapping capabilities which will be sorely missed.

The Dogs statistician Mitchell Nebauer compiled the data from the Friday night game with Matt Rae earning the VB hard earned thirst award for Hardest Worker. Well Done Matt.

The Dogs are now back in contention for Finals football with only a handful of games remaning.

Witnessing Greatness...

How can you ever doubt the Bulldogs.. 3-1 down, 35 minutes remaining and Dogs were still $1.08 favourites to win...

For any team to come back and score 3 unanswered goals to win the game is impressive... but for the Maryland Fletcher Bulldogs.. well thats just an average Friday for us..

Hamish Porter was treating the defenders like cuts of succulent steaks just dodging and weaving in true Vegan style. His efforts along side Matt Rae helped in leading the Bulldogs back into contention with Sean Pole-Cini just doing what he does best... collecting those Man of the Match performances..

We interviewed Sean Pole-Cini after the game and he had this to say.

"Here's the deal I'm the best there is. Plain and simple. I wake up in the morning and I p**s excellence."

There’s a Vibe in Newy.. and The Mighty Bulldogs are loving it.

The Dogs come away with a 3-0 defeat over Mayfield United. With horrendous ground conditions which closely resembled Stockton Sand Dunes, the Doggies were in for a tough night.

The Dogs opened the first half in style until a unknown entity turned off the ground lights. Unbeknownst to Mayfield, they believed the darkness was their ally, but they merely adopted the dark. The Dogs were born in it, molded by it and this didnt phase us one bit.

Second half came around and the Dogs were hungry for goals. Then it happened, a moment that changed the game. The moment the poor left winger of Mayfield felt the full brunt of the law.. what happened you ask? The Sheriff (Dom Cav-Lav) came to town..

With Trumps answer to “The Wall” running down the field with the ball, a lob of all lobs was send skywards... so fu***ng high it came downwards with snow on it. Who was there to greet it? Aaron Billiet thats who, and didn’t he give it a welcome home party, sending it into the goals from outside the box. (See picture for real life re-enactment)

With the Dogs putting on a clinic, the Mayfield players were in all sorts of disarray, with the opposing Striker packing up his bags during play and going home. When questioned why by his team mates for quitting on the boys he said 3 words “Dan the Man” (Daniel Masters)

The boys sealed out the game with two more goals from Sean Griffiths, adding to his season tally.

A great overall victory from the Doggies.

Ah S**t, The Doggies Are At It Again.

The Doggies made the trip to Jesmond to play Merewether “Advance” lastnight and the crowds were not disappointed.

With the aroma of KFC Chicken flowing across the ground, you could say Brodie Lee was definitely in his element.

The Dogs opened the first half in style with S**t Goals, S**t Touches and S**t Banter. Classic Dogs.

Shoutout to Ryan Mclure and Luke Slade for providing security for our belongings.

The final scored was 3-1 with 2 x Goals to Aaron Billiet and 1 x to Sean Griffiths.

The Dogs Fought Back Scoring 3 Goals in Quick Succession But It Was To Late.

The Dogs Will Return To The Black Beatle Infested Kurraka Oval To Take On Muswellbrook At 6:30pm On Friday.
