Skill is only a small part of what makes a team special and what brings results. Trusting each other, respecting each other, having positive team culture and playing with all the heart you can muster, is what brings results. These Under 15 girls brought all of those things plus more and were nothing short of magic. This is why after the weekend they officially became second in the state in Rugby 7's.

I don't know about you folks but it's been an interesting time recently.

Lockdown 2.0 is wrapping up and sport is well and truly underway again.

All the things that we miss from lockdown are suddenly available and in a rush to getting back to some type of normal it can be stressful going from nothing to everything in the matter of days.

Overwhelm is completely normal in the face of abnormal times. We can't hold ourselves to the same expectations of prelockdown because we need to give time to ourselves to adjust post lockdown.

I want to assure you, that if you are experiencing this, you are not alone. Everything you are experiencing is valid and understandable. Help is here for you if you need a shoulder, support is here for you if you need to vent. And that kindness you show others? Save a little for yourself. And if you don't know how- send me a message

Welcome to The Wellbeing League and thanks for following my page! I have created The Wellbeing League to provide services for people involved in sports who require support. Sport is a great resource for us to access and gain better mental health, community connection, physical exercise, and overall positive wellbeing. Sometimes when the chips are down, we can place pressure on ourselves to be constantly doing better, working harder, or don't feel good enough to be part of the sport we are competing in. This is why I have created The Wellbeing League, to offer a holistic support service to help people who are struggling with their sport. Our struggles can take many forms that cause us to feel scared, frustrated, worried, anxious, sad, or unmotivated, and the services I provide are aimed at helping you through these feelings to get the most out of your sport. This is something I am deeply passionate about and extremely committed to as I want sport to be a place of connection, confidence, and growth for all.
