FIXTURE UPDATE- Our NPL Northern NSW Senior Men are back at home this Sunday afternoon in the Northern NSW Football NPL Men's FINAL SERIES. We take on Maitland FC in a do-or-die clash for a spot to go into the 2026 NPL Grand Final. The GSSGroup Magicians are still reeling from our extra-time loss to the Bears last week, and are desperate to make amends to our supporters. We need a huge crowd on hand to cheer on our boys in Red. Happy Fathers Day!!! Clear your Sunday afternoon, this game is going to be huge!!!

RESULTS- NPL Northern NSW Women's Minor Semi Final Broadmeadow Magic versus Lake Macquarie City FC played at Macquarie Field today.

⚽GSSGroup NPL- 1-1* (5-4) MAGIC WIN ON PENS!!!
Goal Scorer- Wimberly Wright

Wow wow wow!!! Never say die, or at the death, are cliches that are often used in football and today our girls served up a cracker. After a tight affair of goals disallowed, very tight offsides and a dubious penalty about to end our season, up steps our American Midfield Maestro Wimberly Wright to smash home a long ball past the keeper to send us to extra time. The girls dug in deep and made sure everything was left on the line, and they did amazing. With cramp setting in with many, we survived extra-time and the dreaded penalties would decide our fate.
Unfortunately we missed our first to a good keeper save, Malli saved Lakes' third spot kick to even the shoot-out. In sudden-death Cambo launched hers emphatically in the top corner, leaving the Lakes player to reply, she sent her high and long, almost onto the 5-Islands Bridge. Magic 5-4 victors on penalties, Well done Jason, Cookie and the girls on showing amazing character and resilience!!!
