⚫️ Mothers Day, 12 point partay! Big day for Monash with all 4 senior sides winning in the same weekend for the first time in a while.

🟡 HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all our brilliant Mum’s that are involved in our club from juniors all the way through to our seniors!

⚫️ Our seniors accounted for East Gippsland in a much needed win, with Ryan McCluskey announcing his return with his first hat-trick for the club. 7-1.

🟡 Reserves were strong across the board again, winning 7-0.

⚫️ Senior women put in a strong performance across the ground and shut the door on a 1-0 win. Our players Mum’s joined the girls for the song after the game 💛🖤

🟡 3rd Division got their first, and well deserved win (minus R.Musgrove who has reportedly torn his hamstring off the bone), Jace Paulet snagging himself a hat-trick, winning 3-2

⚽️ROUND 4 RESULTS⚽️

⚫️ Round 4 and our Seniors went down 1-2 to Churchill. In a game of 2 halves, the boys came out down 0-2 after half time but threw everything at Churchill with some solid play and were rewarded with a clinical E.Lawrence finish. As we pushed we couldn’t find a late equalizer. 1-2 loss.

🟡 Reserves left it late in the top of table clash but got the job done with some calm finishes under pressure. 3-2 win.

⚫️ Senior women once again rued some missed opportunities, but positive is they are creating them! Lots to be positive about. 1-3 loss.

🟡 3rd Division with 10 men for most of the day fought gallantly, with T.Jones creating chances but unfortunately blasting one onto the road and a strong first half in goals by B.O’Connor, but succumbed to a fresh Churchill outfit. 0-3 loss.

⚫️ Away next week against Tyers and also East Gippsland.

⚽️ROUND 3 RESULTS⚽️

⚫️ Round 3 and our Seniors were against a fast moving Pegasus side. 1-1 at half time after J.Davis scored for us. Chances went begging and Pegasus looked to be getting away with a 1-2 victory before C.Semple scored a late equalizer to give us a share of the points. 2-2 Draw.

🟡 Reserves put on a show against a newly formed team, running out 11-1 winners.
Goal Scorers: R.Harvey ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️, E.Potts ⚽️⚽️⚽️, G.Cheng ⚽️, M.McHallam ⚽️, L.Getz ⚽️ & R.Musgrove ⚽️.

⚫️ Senior women played a strong game and learnt how cruel soccer can be if you don’t take your chances! With chances going begging in the first half, and being 0-0 at half time, Fortuna scored 2 goals from 2 chances in the 2nd half and sealed the game. Lots to be happy about but plenty of work to be done. 0-2 loss.

🟡 3rd Division were involved in a 10 goal, goal fest! Going down 3-7, the boys played some great soccer but were met by a well drilled Fortuna side! 3-7 loss.
