Newborough parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Moe Botanical Gardens, Botanic Drive, Newborough
parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male

or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

🌅 Newborough parkrun is back tomorrow morning! 🌅

The forecast is looking dry, but it's going to be a cool start, so make sure you bring a jacket for before and after your walk, jog, run, or volunteer stint.

Whether you're chasing a PB, taking it easy, or joining us for the first time, we'd love to see you at the start line.

After parkrun, we'll be heading over to Danbo's Café for a coffee, breakfast, and a chat. Everyone is welcome to join us!

I'm especially looking forward to tomorrow as it will be my very first time as Run Director. I'm excited to be part of delivering another fantastic Newborough parkrun and can't wait to see our wonderful community out there.

See you bright and early tomorrow morning at 7:50am for the run briefing! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️☕

📣 Mid-Week Volunteer Call Out – Saturday 13 June (My First Week as Run Director!) 📣

Hi everyone!

I'm excited to be taking on my first ever Run Director role at parkrun on Saturday 13th June, and I'd love your help to make the morning run smoothly.

This week we only need a Marshall, however the roster is never full and we could always use additional help with token sorting and finish token support. There are also plenty of vacancies over the next coming weeks if you would like to assist.

No experience is necessary, and full training and support will be provided. Volunteering is a great way to give back to our parkrun community, meet fellow parkrunners, and help ensure everyone has a fantastic morning.

If you're available and willing to help, please comment below, send us a message, or email the volunteer team. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and would help make my first week as Run Director a successful one!

Thank you in advance for your support, and I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
