2024 KEITH BRADSHAW CLUB ANNUAL DINNER

Last Saturday evening, 9th November The KBC celebrated our second annual dinner with a wonderful turn out of past and current players, officials and friends and family of the club.

The pinnacle of the evening was the announcement and presentation of the annual Keith Bradshaw Recognition Award to Hayden Cross. Hayden is a most deserving recipient who is recognised as embodying the qualities and attributes of selflessness, hard work, dedication, club orientation and courage as personified by the late Keith Bradshaw. Congratulations to Hayden and we look forward to watching him grow and thrive with New Town.

The club was lucky enough to host a number of specials guests including Eliza, one of Keith’s daughter’s, her partner, Gus and mother, Louise. We thank you all for making yourselves available to join us on this significant occasion for the club.

The guest speaker for the evening was Gary Goodman who provided a very insightful and in-depth account of his own personal cricket journey. The KBC would like to thank Gary for his time and support.

Well done to Jayden Vince, who continued his strong start to the season, posting his second First Grade Century on Saturday against North Hobart on Saturday at NTO.

Vinnie sits atop the league runs table with 233 runs from 4 innings at an average of 116.5.

Congratulations to past player Nick Foot, a great achievement!

AFL Tasmania would like to congratulate Tasmanian field umpire Nick Foot on his selection for Saturday’s AFL Grand Final 👏

It will be Foot’s first AFL Grand Final and he will become just the third Tasmanian to officiate on Grand Final day, following on from fellow field umpire Scott Jeffrey in 2016 and boundary umpire Mitch Le Fevre in 2017.
