🏇 HOME BASE CHARITY RACE DAY 2026 🏇

We're calling on businesses, suppliers, contractors, tradies, friends and supporters to get behind this incredible event and help make it bigger than ever.

📅 Sunday 29 November
📍 Ladbrokes Park Elwick
👥 Tables of 10 available $1,950 (meal & drinks package) or $1,150 (meal package)

Hosted on behalf of the Rotary Club of Glenorchy, funds raised from the day support Home Base Youth Services' Colville Place, providing emergency accommodation for vulnerable young people aged 12-15 years.

This year, PST will match every dollar raised for Colville Place, doubling the impact of your support.

Last year's fundraising helped:
✅ Replace essential kitchen items for residents
✅ Fund su***de intervention training for staff supporting vulnerable young people

How you can help:

Gretna Cricket Club - JUNIOR UPDATE 💚💛

With the feedback and responses we have received, we are working towards fielding teams in :

🏏 BLAST - 6 week program on Friday Afternoons 430-530 at Gretna War Memorial Oval

Created for our littlest cricketers, this program encourages children to learn, grow and develop their cricket skills through engaging and game-based activities.

🏏 OUTFIELDS - Friday afternoons 4-5

Helping young cricketers to build on this skills and gain valuable game experience.

🏏 STAGE 2 - Wednesday evenings 4.45- 6.45

For developing cricketers who are confident in both batting and bowling , can face a range of bowling types and can bowl accurate deliveries within the batters reach.

🏏 UNDER 14’S - Sundays 9am- 12.45

For young cricketers aged under 14 who are keep to develop their game through team competition

We still have places available across all the above teams and are also looking for coaches to support our junior players. If your child would like to play or you’re interested in coaching one of our junior teams, we’d love to hear from you.

How to Register for the 2026/27 Cricket Season

Step 1️⃣ – Select the Competition

🟢 On the Register page, select the competition you will be playing in:

🏏 Hurricanes Junior League – for junior cricket.

🏏 Southern Cricket Association (TAS) – for senior cricket.

🟢 Tap “Register a Player, Coach, Team Manager, Official or Volunteer.”

Step 2️⃣ – Fill Out Your Details

🟡 Complete the registration form with all of your required personal details.

🟢 Make sure your information is correct before continuing to the next step.

Step 3️⃣ – Select Your Registration Type

🟡 Choose the registration option that applies to you:

- Junior player playing seniors – $42.55
- Senior player – $83.50
- Playing Life Member – $0.00

🟢 You will also see the Cricket Australia National Registration Fee and any applicable PlayHQ service fee.

🟡 Once you have selected the correct registration type, tap Continue and follow the prompts to complete your registration.

Total Registration Costs

- Senior Player – $121.79
- Junior Playing Seniors – $60.89
- Playing Life Member – $36.50

A big congratulations to one of our own Alex Bailey who won the 2026 Under 13s STJFL Robert Beakley Best & Fairest medal at last night's awards night.

Alex has had a fantastic football season at NNJFC & also part of the Under 13s Devils Emerging Talent team.

Shout out also to Ryan & Lucas Jones who both polled in the Under 15s age competition.
