⛳ The Par 3 6th/15th – A thrilling tee shot down and across the bank to a kidney-shaped green, guarded by bunkers and a steep drop-off. It’s a hole that can make—or break—your round!
⛳ The Par 3 8th/17th – Test your nerve with a shot over the Club’s dam, a challenge that will have you coming back to conquer it time and time again.

RESULTS FROM SATURDAY’S FINAL ROUND OF THE WINDSOR TROPHY STABLEFORD…….

Congrats to all winners but a special mention to the Legend himself in Les McKenzie who took out this years Windsor Trophy with the best 2 out of 3 score total of 74 points ( 39-35), 2 points clear of Leigh Heron’s 72 (43-29) , with Phil Foster a further point behind with 71 ( 40-31). A massive thank you to the Windsor Family for their continued support of this Event ⛳️🏆

June Tournament – Tasmania's Best Amateur Golfers Put on a Show

The inaugural June Tournament delivered two days of outstanding golf, with a field packed full of elite amateur talent from across Tasmania battling it out at New Norfolk Golf Club.

Leading the charge was Devonport star Jonty Lunson, who produced a masterclass in consistent golf. Rounds of 65 and 66 gave him a remarkable 36-hole total of 131, securing the title by a commanding 10 strokes.

Behind Lunson, the battle for the minor placings was fierce, with players jostling for position throughout the final round.

Jonty Lunson Claims Inaugural June Tournament Title

Devonport star Jonty Lunson produced a dominant display of Golf to win the inaugural New Norfolk Golf Club June Tournament.

Rounds of 65 and 66 gave Lunson an outstanding 36-hole gross total of 131, finishing ten strokes clear of his nearest challengers, Dylan Backhouse and Andrew Phillips.

Playing in very challenging conditions on the first day, Lunson combined exceptional ball striking with consistent course management to record one of the finest tournament performances seen at New Norfolk Golf Club in recent years.

Jonty was presented with his Drummond Golf Cambridge prize vouchers by Lyons Federal Member, Rebecca White, during the presentation ceremony following the completion of play.

Congratulations to Jonty and all competitors who took part in a highly successful inaugural June Tournament .. more pics and score details to follow in due course.

SPECTATORS ARE WELCOME TODAY.

With sunny weather conditions forecast all day NNGC invites visitors and spectators to come and watch the states top level amateur golfers in action.

Only a couple of rules if you are new at this sport .. keep an eye on the players golf balls (they fly very fast through the air) don't stand behind the players and no talking while shots are being played please.

The clubhouse is open all day for refreshments and our top caterer Tracy is on duty serving up awesome hot food.

JUNE TOURNAMENT – MONDAY DRAW

Strong, gusty winds tested competitors throughout today’s round at New Norfolk Golf Club.

A superb 65 gross from Devonport star Jonty Lunson was the standout performance of the day.

With the chasing pack tightly grouped in the low-to-mid 70s, the battle for the remaining podium positions is wide open heading into tomorrow’s final round.

Good luck to all competitors. Forecast conditions are expected to be much kinder, with sunshine and light winds providing ideal scoring opportunities. ☀️🏌️‍♂️

EVENT PREVIEW: Nurse Next Door Hobart East TAS Open Series Launches at New Norfolk Golf Club

The 2026/27 Nurse Next Door Hobart East TAS Open Series tees off in style this weekend with the inaugural June Tournament to be played at New Norfolk Golf Club—and it promises to be a blockbuster start to the season.

A deep and super competitive field has assembled, headlined by Devonport star Jonty Lunson, who will enter the event as the player to beat. He’ll face plenty of pressure from fellow state team members Dylan Backhouse, Xavier Nicholls, and Eli Monaghan, all capable of being there when the whips are cracking come Sunday morning.

Adding further intrigue, Tasmanian golfing legends Andrew Phillips and Nathan Gatehouse are up for the contest and will ensure no shortage of contenders. In fact, the strength of field means 10 to 15 players could realistically push for victory come the final round.

Credit must go to New Norfolk Golf Club for securing its place on the calendar and hosting the season opener. It promises to be a cracker!

1st round tees off on Sunday morning followed by the final round Monday morning.
