A composite team of 12 Platinum Masters Men Over 70's from Newcastle, Port Stephens, Central Coast and Tweed Heads) - paddling as Newcastle Outrigger Canoe Club won GOLD in the V12 500m race at the IVF Va'a World Sprint Championships at Marina Bay in Singapore.

Graham and Tony the Port Stephens component of the Master 70's V12 crew, taking Gold in Singapore. They are in the LH canoe, Tony seat 1, Graham seat 4. A strong team, which included all the Gold medal Master 70 World distance champions from the Brazil campaign. Australias first Gold in Singapore! 🥇
