4 WINS FROM 4 GAMES!! 💙🤍

What a weekend for the Cats!! 🙌🏼

Firstly, a huge well done to both venue hosts Catani Football & Netball Club and Longwarry Footy Netball Club, they were massive days and a fantastic job by everyone involved!

Our A Grade girls booked their spot in their 5th consecutive Grand Final after a stellar performance against Ellinbank on Saturday!

Today, our ‘Lunch Time League’ girls (C Grade) got us off to a flying start with a gutsy win in front of a HUGE Neerim crowd! 💙

B Grade followed suit with an incredible performance, also securing their place in next week’s Preliminary Final! 💪🏼💪🏼

And then there were our Seniors… who took us on an absolute rollercoaster ride! 😅 But when it mattered most, they dug deep, stood tall and came away with the win keeping their season alive and booking themselves a spot in the Preliminary Final! 💙🤍

Four games. Four wins. What a weekend to be a Cat! 🐱

VALE GARTH QUENAULT 💙🤍

We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Club President and long-time Cats contributor, Garth Quenault.

Garth gave so much to our club over many years and leaves behind a wonderful legacy that will not be forgotten.

As a mark of respect, our players will wear black armbands this weekend in Garth’s honour.

Our thoughts are with Anne and the entire Quenault family at this sad time.

They’re the minor premiers, the reigning premiers and undoubtedly the most hunted team in the competition.

But our A Grade girls aren’t done yet!!

Tomorrow, they take on Ellinbank with a place in the 2026 Grand Final on the line, as they chase an incredible fifth consecutive Grand Final appearance.

They’ve set the standard all season, but finals are a whole new challenge and they’ll need the Cats faithful behind them!

Week 1 Finals recap! It was big weekend!! Well done to the two venue hosts Bunyip Football Club and Yarragon Football Netball Club !!

Saturday saw our B Graders and Seniors go down. Lucky for them they both have a chance at redemption next weekend!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Sadly, the season ended today for Under 15’s and Under 17’s! The players and their coaches should be very proud of their season!! Both games showed a great display of talent which is very exciting!!
Our C Graders had a fantastic hard fought win so their season stays alive!!
