The yellow shark receivers in Western Australia can detect tagged sharks that are within a 500m radius, that means that if an alarm is activated the shark could be 1km out to sea in the black water. I would be more concerned if it wasn't being activated from time to time. Feeling blessed to live in area where the ocean is alive and clean and healthy.

Set waves are few and far between at Meelup. This is a bow wave from the launch in the top right of screen. I thought it was going to be much bigger. Pretty sure I broke rule #7 Need three feet of water when standing up. At least I obeyed rule #1 Always where a legrope.

Stand up paddle board yoga is not all heads stands and extreme tricks. It can be done by almost everyone and caters for everybody. Meelup is such a special place to practice yoga. The large trees, green grass and sheltered crystal clear water, make it the ultimate location. Classes running this Sunday 29.12.2019 at 9:15 am. Just $35 including board rental. Bookings essential.
