Narromine Gliding Club once again has the privilege of hosting and running this gliding championship for 2025, to be held in March 2026.

Thank you to all of our past Two Seater Nationals competitors and we hope to see all of you back again in Narromine in March 2026.

Similarly Narromine extends a very warm welcome to anyone contemplating entering this iconic competition for the first time. We plan 8 days of fun, fair and challenging competition flying with our great Narromine social atmosphere.

Narromine Gliding Club has had the honour of hosting and running this gliding championship almost from it's inception.

It is now time for a good friend to take on the challenge and we wish The Lake Keepit Gliding Club our best wishes for a safe, challenging and fun competition this year.

Thank you to all of our past Two Seater Nationals competitors and we hope to have the comps back in Narromine again at some future time.

Lastly we want to congratulate Mak Ichikawa and Ron Sanders on their overall Third Place.
Flying the only Open Class glider in the competition, Mak and Ron flew the Nimbus 3DM consistently in the top 4 finishers and winning Day 6.
Well done both of you and congratulations on overall Third Place!

Really worthy of note though is the FIG team, Adam Woolley and Keith Gately.
They had a nightmare first two days of the competition with two outlandings, but then they came back strongly with 1st, 1st, 2nd, 1st, and 2nd places consecutively. That is some pretty awesome flying guys, considering the level of competition pilots in this comp.

They only missed overall Third Place by10 points and did achieve a podium Third Place in the 20m Two seat Competition.

Also congratulations deservedly for David Jansen and Butch Buchanan who flew consistently strongly all competition. A very close and hard fought Second Place finish!

Well Brad Edwards gave us all a Master Class today and showed why he is a former World Champion.
He roared around the course today at an average speed of 129.86 km/h over a distance of 396.13 km and came home in first place for the day and for the competition.
Awesome flying Brad and congratulations on a well deserved win!

A really good day out today, everyone is home and no outlandings. Some amazing gliding conditions, Narromine really turned it on today to finish the Two Seat Nationals in great style. Results may be delayed until the final dinner, but I've got a pretty good idea of the top three anyway.😉
What about you?
