Yesterday was a sad day for the Narrogin Golf Club with one of our Matriarch red gums being blown over.
180 mts on right of No 1 fairway.
Opens a big hole on the course.

Thank you to Shane Thornton and his family and Carpet Court for sponsoring the new fun day of golf on Saturday.
Players went into a draw to decide which tees they’d play, blue, red or white.

Winner of the Blue Tee Comp was Shayne Boothey - 37 points Followed by Sue Short with 35 points.

Winner of the White Tee Comp was Tom Hardie with 34 Points followed by Laurie Dunn - 32 points.

Winner of the Red Tee Comp was Ronnie Coppock with 38 points also being the best score of the day. R/Up Wayne Francis - 32 points.

This Saturday is the AFL Grand final stableford starting at 10:00am with a barbecue lunch, watch the Final and then complete the last 9 holes. Shayne Boothey the birthday boy has a special surprise for all competitors.

Sunday will be a club stableford with all players off the Red Tees.

Reminder to all players that GolfLink goes offline on Sunday night and does not come back on line for the Narrogin Club until the 10th of October. No handicapping of events during this time.

The Liquor Barons Summer Cup held on Thursday had 79 players. The $10 entry fee, plus a donation from the golf club, meant $1,000 from the day went towards Parkinson’s Research.

Jacqui Schorer (Wandering ) was the winner with 39 points.
Milton Keen( Boddington) 38 points was the runner up.
Shane Thornton finished 3rd also with 38 points.
George Tutavaha ( Boddington ) won the veterans on 38 points.

Saturday 13th was the AFGRI 2 Person Ambrose.
Winners of the day were Chris Betteley and Janus De Bruyn with a score of 62.25
2nd place was Eric Hall and Brett Coxon with a score of 66.75
Rounding out the top 3 was Wayne Palumbo and Bill Rybarczyk with 67.75.
The NAGA went to Stan Matveev and Tom Hardie!
