Mt Barker season opener - 26th October 2024

With some changes to my car during the off season it felt great to get back on the track.

With a field of 11 seniors we had some fast and very close competitive racing.

Starting from the rear in heat 1 to get the feel for the car with the changes i finished with a fourth, fifth, first and third in the feature coming away with a third overall. Congratulations Sam with the win and Peter with 2nd.

Thanks to my parents for the hours you spent in the shed getting my car ready. Thanks to all my sponsors and to all the F125 drivers & families for helping make this a great day of racing.

Mt Barker season opener - 28th October 2023

Congratulations to all the F125 drivers.
We had some fast and very close competitive racing in both the Juniors and Seniors.

Super impressed with the way both the Juniors and Seniors drove in heat 3 with some challenging and slippery track conditions.

Jacob had a first, third, fifth & second coming away with a second overall. Congratulations Sam with the win and Taylor with 3rd.

First race meeting today at the NEC Narrogin Speedway run by Perth TQ car club.

What an awesome day with some very fast and close racing, which i believe had some track records broken ?

Looks like it’s going to be a very competitive and exciting season.

F125 State Titles - Mt Barker 29th April 2023

The biggest day of racing finally arrived after being postponed due to some bad weather last month.

We had a split field with 14 fast and competitive cars nominated in the senior division for State Titles, it was a great day of racing on a very trying track.

With a large amount of rain over the last few weeks, Thank you to Mt Barker Speedway for all the effort put into the track prep for the State Title.

Heat 1 - I pulled peg 12 which put me in the second field of cars starting in 5th position and finishing 3rd.
Heat 2 - I started in 2nd position in the first field and finished in 3rd.
Heat 3 - Starting in 4th position in the second field and finished in 3rd.
State Title Race - I started in 5th position with some of the fastest and most experienced drivers taking the first 4 positions. I knew i would have to work hard but I held 5th for the first half of the race until Taylor hit a rut and i slipped past him into 4th, which is where i finished.

My goal was to finish in the top 10 and my dream was top 5 and i’m absolutely stoked to have that dream turn into reality.

Congratulations to the top 3 drivers (Bill, Sam & Braiden) who were fast all day and Thank you to all the other F125 families for making the journey down and helping make this State Title another great weekend of racing.

Thank you to my parents for all the time and effort spent getting my car ready. Thank you to my Grandparents, Uncle and Cousins for making the trip to Mt Barker and cheering me on.

Geraldton City Speedway - Mid West Champs 8th & 9th April 2023

Had an absolute blast in Geraldton with 2 days of some very close and fast racing.

Day 1
Heat 1 - Started in 5th and finished 3rd behind Allan in 1st and Taylor in 2nd.
Heat 2 - Started in 4th and finished 1st but got relegated to 3rd.
Heat 3 - Started in 7th and finished 3rd behind Taylor in 1st and Allan in 2nd, which was a photo finish.

Day 2
Heat 4 - Started in 7th and finished 3rd behind Allan in 1st and Taylor in 2nd.
Heat 5 - Started in 2nd and finished 1st with Julie in 2nd and Trevor in 3rd (with Taylor loosing a chain and Allan hitting the wall)
Feature- Started in 2nd and finished 1st with Taylor in 2nd and Allan in 3rd.

My car ran fast all weekend as did my competitors. Thank you and congratulations to all the other drivers and all the travelling F125 families for making the journey up to Geraldton and helping make this a great weekend racing.

Thank you to the Berry Families for hosting Friday Night dinner and catch up for everyone.

Thanks to Latch & Paula for taking the time in your holiday to come and watch me race and for not distracting me on turn two.

Albany 28th January 2023

After making a few changes to my car we headed to Albany Speedway for a run.
Heat 1 - Started on poll and finished 1st with Sam Jewell in 2nd and Chris Pittaway in 3rd.
Heat 2 - Started at the rear and fought my way into 2nd. Before i knew it Sam was on the infield and we were having a restart. Couple of laps in with a second restart i held 1st position taking out the win.
Heat 3 - Started in 3rd behind Chris and managed to get in front and held him off, finishing in 1st with Chris in 2nd and Bill Beeck in 3rd.
Feature - I started on poll and again got the jump fighting it out with Chris until Sam came through the pack. Then Sam and Chris battled it out for a few laps. I finished in 1st with Sam in 2nd and Chris in 3rd.

What an amazing night 4 out of 4, the changes we made had paid off.

Congratulations to all the other drivers.

Mt Barker Speedway - 10th December 2022

Heat 1 - Started on pole and missed the jump off the started but by turn 1 made my way back into the lead and held a good gap for the rest of the race, taking out the win.
Heat 2 - Started rear of field and by turn 2 had made my way into 3rd. Both Bill and Chris drove really well keeping me in 3rd for the rest of the race.
Heat 3 - Started in 4th and got the jump into 1st position before turn 1. Held the lead for most of the race until Bill finally got the better of me and i finished in 2nd.
Feature - Started in 2nd position and got the jump off the line and held 1st position with some distance between me and Bill for the entire race, again taking out the win.
