Congratulations to our Section 3 Rubbers Green boys on reaching the BDTA - Berwick & District Tennis Association Grand Final. A strong season saw them finish the home and away season in 1st place. This saw them play their semi-final against our Section 3 Rubbers Black team.
A great effort by Campbel and Anandu to be Runners-Up. Anandu played with courage and resilience after injuring is ankle in his singles rubber decider. A big shout out to Campbell who stepped up to support him in their doubles rubber.

Congratulations to our Section 13 Singles/Doubes team for reaching the BDTA - Berwick & District Tennis Association Grand Final.
A great effort by all that resulted in them being Runners-Up: Rekishan, Devapryag, Nikitha, Thisun & Kallen. Well done, a great effort.

It is with a heavy heart that we inform the BDTA tennis community of the passing of BDTA life member Barry Palmer.

Barry passed away peacefully earlier this week after a life of 80+ years.

Barry was the dedicated BDTA Score Secretary for over a decade whereby his attention to detail, communication to clubs and efficient updating of by-laws set a new standard in voluntary sports admin.

Many of the processes we have in place today within the BDTA are thanks to the great work of Barry Palmer.

Barry’s legacy will live on forever within the BDTA through the Barry Palmer trophy that is awarded each season at Presentation Day.
