A special moment for Blake “Rowdy” O’Neill, who made his Senior debut on Saturday night under the lights.

A much-loved figure around the club, Rowdy looked right at home at senior level, providing plenty of composure and reliability across half-back. His calm decision-making, strong defensive efforts and willingness to compete showed exactly why he earned his opportunity.

With a bright future ahead in the black and white, this is sure to be the first of many senior appearances for Blake.

Congratulations, Rowdy – a well-deserved debut! ⚫⚪

What a night at Kalora Park! 🙌

A huge home game under lights, an incredible crowd, and plenty of black-and-white success across both football and netball made for a memorable Round 10.

Our Senior Footballers put on a show in front of the home faithful, running out 38-point winners over Hampton Park, while the Reserves continued their strong form with a dominant victory. The Women’s Football side also delivered another commanding performance, recording a massive win over Frankston.

Across the courts, A Grade got the job done in a hard-fought contest, while C Grade snatched a thrilling 3-goal win. There were also strong victories for our 17 Blue and 15 Blue sides, while the Colts produced a remarkable 112-point win.

A special thank you to everyone who came down and helped create such an electric atmosphere throughout the day and into the night. The support from our members, players, volunteers, sponsors and supporters makes these big club days so special. ⚫⚪

🖤🤍 ROUND 10 | STARTING LINE UPS 🤍🖤

It’s set to be one of the biggest days on the NWFNC calendar as we host Hampton Park for a full day and night of football and netball action at Kalora Park! 🔥

The action kicks off at 10:40am with our Women’s Football side taking the field, before a packed schedule of football and netball continues right through until the Senior Football clash under lights at 6:30pm, with the final siren not expected until around 9:00pm tonight.

🖤🤍Round 10 🤍🖤

It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest days on the NWFNC calendar!

For the first time this season, we have FIVE football games at Kalora Park, kicking off with our Women’s team at 10:40am and finishing under lights as the Seniors take on Hampton Park from 6:30pm. 🌙🔥

The action doesn’t stop there, with EIGHT netball teams also playing at home throughout the day and into the evening. Our A Grade side hits the court at 5:15pm, while our Under 13s enjoy a well-earned bye.

This weekend marks just our second whole-club home-and-away fixture of the season, with both football and netball taking on Hampton Park across a massive day of competition.

Adding to the celebrations, we’ll also be hosting:

Round 9 ✔️

What a weekend for the black and white! 💪

Across football and netball, NWFNC recorded an impressive 13 wins from 15 matches, with some dominant performances and plenty of hard-fought victories.

🏉 Senior Football continued their strong form with a 35-point win over St Pauls, while the Reserves, Colts, U19s, Women’s and Masters sides all recorded convincing victories.

🏐 Our netballers also had a day to remember, with A Grade, B Grade and C Grade all securing strong wins over Berwick. The junior grades battled hard, with thrilling victories to both 15 Blue and 15 White, while 17 Blue also came away with the points.

Special mention to our D Grade netballers, who fell agonisingly short by a single goal after a terrific contest.

A huge thank you to all players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and families who represented the club across another busy weekend. 👏

Our sides are locked in for another big weekend of football and netball action! 👊⚫⚪

The Senior Footballers head into this week’s clash with five changes to the lineup as the coaching group manages a few minor injuries across the squad. Plenty of opportunity for others to step up and make their mark.

This Saturday, our U19s Colts head to Ashwood FC for what promises to be a great contest on the field and an important cause off it.

Ashwood FC is hosting a Pink Breast Cancer Day, raising awareness and funds for breast cancer research and support. The day has special significance for the club, with many players, families and supporters having been impacted by breast cancer over the years.

There will be raffles, pink-themed activities throughout the clubrooms, and Best on Ground awards presented to a player from each team.
If you're heading down to support the boys, we encourage you to get behind this fantastic initiative. Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will help support an important cause.

A big thank you to Ashwood FC for inviting us to be part of the day. We look forward to seeing everyone there and supporting a tradition that will hopefully continue for many years to come.

A split weekend for the Magpies as our netballers hit the road to take on Berwick, while football is spread across Friday, Saturday and Sunday fixtures.

All grades are away this weekend at Edwin Flack Reserve as we take on Berwick. Best of luck to all our teams as they look to continue their strong season.

🏉 Football
👩🏼 Women’s kick off the weekend under lights on Friday night, hosting Chelsea Heights at Kalora Park.

👨🏼Our Seniors and Reserves head to McKinnon Reserve on Saturday to take on the Bulldogs, while the 19s and Colts are also on the road.

👨🏼‍🦳The weekend wraps up on Sunday with our Masters side hosting Dingley at Kalora Park.

A special moment for our club on the weekend as 17-year-old Zavier Galucho made his senior debut for the Narre Warren Magpies.

Presented with his jumper by club legend Nick Scanlon before the game, Zavier embraced the occasion and never looked out of place at senior level. An Eastern Rangers-listed player who typically patrols the half-back flank, Zavier showed great composure and confidence throughout the day, playing his role in a strong team performance.

It was fantastic to see him contribute to the win, and even better to see him walking off the ground with his jumper off celebrating alongside his teammates.

Congratulations, Zavier – a well-deserved debut and hopefully the first of many senior games in the black and white. 🖤🤍

Round 8 ✔️

A huge weekend across the club with plenty to celebrate, recording victories in all 5 football matches played! 💪

🏉 Seniors were dominant against Cheltenham, running out 85–37 winners.
🏉 Reserves delivered a massive performance with a 144–13 victory over Cheltenham.
🏉 Colts made the trip to Cranbourne and came away with a strong 62–48 win.
🏉 Women’s Football continued their impressive season, defeating Mordialloc 36–13.
🏉 Masters rounded out the weekend in style with a 94–24 win over Bayside.

🏉Our 19s match was unfortunately forfeited by Cheltenham and did not go ahead.

🏐 Netball enjoyed a club-wide bye this weekend, with A, B, C and D Grade all taking a well-earned break. The netballers will also have next weekend off before returning to the court in Round 9.

A fantastic weekend for the black and white, with five wins from five games played! 👏
