This pose stretches the hamstrings, calves and inner thighs whilst the spine is elongated.
Evie is a strong and very flexible student who always shares a beautiful smile 😊

Todays theme - “On Safari!
🦁🦓🦒🐍🦩🌳🐒🦅
Pranayama - Lions breath.
My young yogi’s had a fun filled class today exploring and practicing their lions breath, safari themed asanas (poses) such as lion, zebra, cobra, giraffe, flamingo, tree etc and made lion finger puppets. This activity is to help calm their busy minds, and encourage concentration and focus 🥰
Well done little yogis, you are all AMAZING ♥️

It felt great to return to the studio after the holiday break.
A number of yogi’s this week embraced, practiced and worked towards the challenging baby grasshopper pose 🦗

Pushing our limits on the mat is highly beneficial for both your body and mind and it is also how we improve and grow.
When we practice challenging poses such as arm balances, one legged standing poses, or twists we must learn to let go of our ego and accept our wobbles, falls and failures, but we don't let them dictate our next moves.
We also practice patients. We learn to love learning and enjoy our yoga journey.
We also practice Ahimsa (non violence) We push ourselves past our sweet spot but at the same time we listen to our body. We do not push ourselves to cause self harm in any way.
Lastly, we be present, focused and proud of our progress.
Thank you yogis for joining me. Enjoy your weekend and I look forward to seeing you again next week 🙏🏻

We spent the morning sipping tea and discussing yoga, stretch therapy, meditation, retreats, workshops, sound therapy, family and so much more 🥰
What an inspiration this man is. Thank you again Bob for your time, company, knowledge and encouragement 🙏🏻
