With Easter not far away it could be a good time to get your boards, kayaks and skis repaired and ready to go. Hopefully they are not as bad as this mal with a busted nose. I put it back together with some carbon spars and a gloss resin tint on the nose to hide the scar. Good as new and ready to hit the waves again. If anyone is keen on next seasons Duotone wing foiling kit I have got all info now. I can offer special pre order pricing but I need orders by lunch time Tuesday (17th June) as I have to submit my orders Tuesday night. Gear will land start of September so get it at Closeout pricing at the start of the season not the end.

Just had a Windsurfer LT to fix that had a knee go through the deck. I love being able to get good gear back on the water.

The door has shut on another year at the Wetspot. Thanks to all the awesome people I get to chat to, teach, help, fix gear for and share time on the water with. I may not earn millions a year but I love what I do and that feeds the soul. Happy New Year all.

Must be summer soon. The boards are coming in and going out. Make sure you check your boards before you pack for the coast this summer. Get them fixed so they don’t take on water. Some need a good 4-5 days to fix if they are epoxy and needing bigger repairs so get them in early. Might see you at the coast this weekend 🤞

So for all you wingfoilers out there I am going to put some gear on the water to demo this Saturday. I will be at Yarralumla Bay from 10:30 till 2 with some new Duotone kit. This is for people that can already foil to give the new gear a go.
NOT A BEGINNERS LESSON
I’ll have new a Slick in 5.5 and Dlab Slicks in 5.0 & 6.0 plus a 4m Unit if the wind picks up. Also new boards in 65, 85 & 95 litres to try. Bring your gear and we can put your foils on the boards so you have a constant to reference. If you are keen and want to book a time slot shoot me a message otherwise I’ll see you there.

Canberra’s little wingfoil shop is stocked up with the latest gear from Duotone. If you have thought about getting into this awesome sport give Scotty a call and have a chat. If you can’t afford new, he may know of local crew selling used gear to upgrade so that can be a great way to get into it.
