The Rookie class is, without a doubt, one of the most supported classes at ASCA Stockmans Challenge events, and it’s fantastic to see so many riders getting out enjoying the sport.

Congratulations to Top 10 Rookie Riders, and to every Rookie rider and horse who has competed throughout the 2026 season.

A huge thank you to our cattle donors Scott Simshauser, Vicki Dempsey, Phil Proctor Transport and the drover Scott Paulston. The cattle were A grade from start to finish and incredibly consistent throughout the event, giving our competitors the best opportunity to showcase their horses abilities.
