1 year ago yesterday we turned the old Corolla into a nothing but a paddock ornament.

The new car is being built in slow progress but it will be faster, lighter and stronger than the old one.

We have had the old suspension rebuilt, repaired and altered by MCA Suspension,

A new gearbox built by Holinger engineering,

A plethora of Motec goodies ready to be wired in,

A shell that has been lightened a great deal more than the old car with a Tilton new pedal box to go with some bigger brakes.

Big day in the shed today pulling the car apart to see the full extent of the damage after the crash at Narooma.

Unfortunately yesterday wasn’t our day. Coming in too hot into a corner on the end of stage 1 and rudely enough the trees didn’t move. Both Pete and I are okay with minimal injuries. The car might need some TLC.
Thank you to all those who have sent us wishes and thoughts and to those who helped get the car out.
Time to refocus and rebuild.
