We had eight happy swimmers at the pool this morning. The tip of the day is: turn on your core while you swim, this improves your movement through the water.

Yes Wendy is back in the pool and ready to get her ‘squad’ back together.
Kate showed us some wonderful drills which challenged us to swim differently and improve our technique.

Yet another clever innovation by our “coaches”…place hair bands around your fingers to create the perfect “cupping” of your hands so you get a good “catch” to pull you through the water.

Another great adult session this morning with 10 swimmers. There will be no organised swim next Sunday due to Easter but the pool will be open if you want to do your own practice.

We did some great backstroke drills this morning plus our favourite - 200m medleys. Kate is planning an open water swim session at Bar beach in the near future with a breakfast BBQ afterwards. We will keep you posted !
