IT’S MEET THE TEAM TUESDAY 🎉

Meet Tianna!

Providing teacher consistency is one of the goals that Akuna Aquatic Education strive for. However there are times where we need to assign a replacement teacher if one of our regular teachers takes a much deserved break or unexpectedly fall ill.

That’s where Tianna steps in! Tianna is one of our replacement teachers.

When she is not covering classes you will find her at some of the best camping locations, paddle boarding or supporting her footy team (just don’t mention where they finished on the ladder 🤭).

Today, we honour the sacrifice of our Australian heroes and reflect on the courage and dedication of those who served.

At 11 am, we unite in a moment of silence to pay our respects to the soldiers and animals who gave everything for our nation.

We will always remember them.

This week we are introducing you to Isabella!

Isabella is one of our regular dedicated swim teachers who joined the Akuna Aquatic Education Team earlier this year.

It’s Friday the 13th and we are announcing our member Halloween colouring competition 👻

All students are welcome to submit the colouring sheet to their aquatic service officer prior to 28 October. We will be contacting the winners on 31 October.

Today, we’re celebrating 1 year of Akuna Aquatic Education 🎉

We’ve had the most amazing first year teaching our aquatic education program to all our students and seeing their progression. We want to thank our students, parents and teachers for making our first year a great success!
