2026 Women's Country Week

This year The Mount Gambier Golf Club will host the 2026 Womens Country Week Bronze Shield. Beginning the week of the 20th July 2026, this event is open to female amature golfers with a GA of 25.1 - 54 who are members of a club affiliated with Golf Australia.

A full week of fun and golf is planned, beginning with welcome cocktails on Monday the 20th, concluding with an 18 Hole Stableford Foursomes and lunch on Thursday the 23rd.

Entries are open and can be done via the Golf Australia events page and close on the 3rd July @ 5pm - no late entries will be accepted.

With entries coming in thick and fast and capped at 95, now is the time to get your name into to avoiding missing what should be a fantstic week of women's golf played on one of South Australia's best public access courses.

Congratulations on another great Pennant season Golf SE ladies. Today’s grand final was played in stunning weather on the beautiful Naracoorte Golf Course.
Results - A grade Lucindale def Bordertown, Div 1 Penola defeated Kingston and Div 2 Lucindale def Bordertown.
Some great golf, sportsmanship and friendships on display. Congratulations to all the winners in 2026.

📣2026 SA Country Junior Championship📣

📨Entries are now open for the 2026 SA Country Junior Championship. It is also part of the SA Teemates 36-Hole Series and SA Junior Vardon event. Open to both country and metro club juniors.

🏌️Port August GC will also be running the clubs' 2026 Junior Open on Sunday 12 July prior to the Country Junior Championships. This would be a good opportunity for the players to familiarize themselves with the course.

🚨🚨 Skipworth Cup players required 🚨🚨

Golf SE are urgently requiring Men's players to represent the region in next weekend's Skipworth Cup against the Riverland in Loxton. Played on the 21st & 22nd of February, players are required to travel up on Friday with accommodation and Saturday's dinner covered by Golf SE. Matches are played all day Saturday and Sunday morning with the team returning Sunday afternoon. 2026 Girls Scholarship Program

Teaming up with Golf Australia and the Australian Golf Foundation, the Mount Gambier Golf Club is offering this amazing opportunity to girls in the region to learn how to play golf in 2026

A 12 month Membership including 24 coaching sessions run by renowned Game Development Coach Scott Mansfield are being offered to applicants to learn the fundamentals of golf. Your ability to play is not a consideration for the program, just a willingness to have fun, learn something new & challenging and make some friends is all that is required.

A free come & try session is being held Tuesday the 10th of February from 4 - 5pm with the chance to meet Scott, have a hit and see what it's all about.
