A Post of Gratitude and Reflection
Sometimes I have to stop and take a moment to reflect on just how far we've come.
Many years ago, the South Australian branch started with just a handful of us training karate in the back of a shed. We didn't have much, but we had passion, dedication, and a vision. What started as only a couple of people slowly grew to five, then ten, then twenty. Before I knew it, we needed a bigger place to train.
Fast forward to today, and it still blows my mind.
We recently had over 70 people attend the MKASA SA Camp, and our branch has now grown to more than 100 members. To think that we started from absolutely nothing and have grown into something this special is beyond words.
We now have dojos throughout South Australia and Victoria, including Freshwater Creek, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Millicent,Lucindale,Frances and Naracoorte. Seeing our students, instructors, and families continue to grow and support one another is truly inspiring.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our students, parents, sponsors, instructors, and everyone who has contributed their time, effort, and belief in what we are building. Every person has played a part in this journey.
I am incredibly grateful and excited for what the future holds. The dojo is getting closer to being completed, which will allow us to better accommodate our growing number of students and continue building something special for the next generation.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has supported this branch over the years. Your dedication, loyalty, and belief in our vision mean more than words can express.
The journey is far from over. These are exciting times, and I can't wait to see how far we can go together.
Thank you, everyone. Osu!
