Par rounds are never everyone’s favourite, but Mary Staude mastered the conditions, playing to her handicap to finish square and take the win. Hopefully the new pink shaft in her driver brought her some extra luck! Trish Brooker was runner-up on -1.

Thursday 23rd July results

A true test of Winter golf today on the course, with 42 players braving the cold, wind and sprinkles of rain throughout the day. The best score of the day went to Michael Paisley who made it around before the winter chill hit. Don't forget we have our August Monthly Medal dinner next Saturday night which will be a curry night.

We are in full swing prepping for 2 big events in August. Starting with our 27 Hole Naracoorte Cup sponsored by Naracoorte Toyota and TASCO Petroleum, which will be held on Sunday, 9th August, open to all golfers with a current GA Handicap. Friday 14th August will be our Ladies Open Day sponsored by Bricey's South East Collision Repairs and Gordon Refrigeration. Entries for both events are now open and bookings can be made by calling the clubhouse on 8762 2121

🏌️ Naracoorte Golf Club – Saturday Results | 18 July 2026

It was a chilly start for the 63-player field, with temperatures around 5°C for the early groups but feeling closer to 0°C. Thick fog lingered over the course, making golf balls difficult to spot and testing everyone’s patience before finally lifting later in the morning.

Despite the tough conditions, there were some outstanding scores posted across all grades.

A field of 18 ladies enjoyed a Stableford competition on Wednesday, kindly sponsored by Sweet Espresso 5271.

Congratulations to Marlene Bull, who claimed the overall win with an excellent 36 points, while Liz Ogilvie finished runner-up with 33 points.

Naracoorte Golf Club – Ladies Golf Wednesday 8/7/26

What a beautiful winter’s day for golf, with sunshine making for ideal playing conditions after a chilly start. A field of 24 ladies enjoyed a Stableford competition, with some outstanding scores recorded.

Congratulations to Liz Ogilvie, who claimed the day’s honours with a superb 39 points, winning on a countback from Ali Rowe and Sylvia Adams, who also finished on 39 points. Great golfing from all three ladies! Ball rundown winners were Sandy Edwards and Bernie Richards, both finishing with an excellent 38 points.

It was wonderful to see Jayne Castine, Ali Rowe and Lucy Possingham back out on the course.
