The Seniors’ SA Order of Merit tournament has finished. What a success it was, showcasing our course. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. So many people giving us so much positive feedback.
I think they just love the country vibe.
The course got the most feedback. We just don’t realise how good we have it here at Naracoorte.
Obviously, it took a fair bit of effort to put the Tournament on.
I don’t like to mention names for fear of missing someone out.
But, to Tim and Jacob. You should be extremely proud of how the course was presented.
Captain Bredon (and supervisor Zander) for the huge amount of hours put in leading up to and during the Tournament.
Dicky, Rowey, Drew and others who helped out where they could.
To Sam, who pulled the whole thing together. Always a thankless and unnoticed job, but if the event goes well, it’s the unsung people who make it happen.
To those who cooked BBQ’s, Breakfasts, worked the bar, worked in the kitchen (thanks Jill for organising), who helped as starters, course marshals or just helped clean up – a big thanks.
As a Club, we can be proud that we can run such a large event.
