Naracoorte Golf Club – Wednesday 17th June 2026

Despite a less-than-promising weather forecast, the ladies were fortunate to get through the day with only a few showers and enjoy a great round of golf.

A field of 20 competed in a 4 Ball Aggregate Stableford event, proudly sponsored by Naracoorte General Practice. A big thank you to our sponsors for their generous support of women’s golf at the club.

Congratulations to our winners Di Carberry and Jayne Castine with an impressive 64 points, narrowly edging out runners-up Sandy Edwards and Jenny Legoe on 63 points. Also featuring in the run down were Chris McDonald and Sylvia Adams with 62 points.

⛳️ Naracoorte Golf Club – Saturday 13 June 2026 ⛳️

A field of 38 players, including 5 ladies, took to the course for the June Monthly Medal. While conditions improved as the day went on, the early starters would have had little fun battling consistent rain for much of their round. Thankfully the weather eased later, allowing everyone to enjoy the course, which continues to be presented in fantastic condition.

Congratulations to Mitch Hartree, who claimed the Monthly Medal with an excellent nett 69 and also took out A Grade honours.

Border Challenge vs Apsley Golf Club is being played on Saturday 20th June. If you would like to play in the afternoon groups can you please add your name to the sheet in the clubhouse. Full booking sheet is available between 7am and 11:50am. Dinner and poetry in the clubhouse following golf.

A cool winter’s day greeted the 20 ladies who took part in this week’s Stableford competition, proudly sponsored by A New Leaf.

Congratulations to Penny Trueman, who returned an excellent 38 points to win the day, with Liz Ogilvie finishing runner-up on 36 points.

🏌️‍♀️ Naracoorte Golf Club – Ladies Results Round Up 🏌️‍♀️

The past two weeks of ladies golf have been played in cool winter conditions, but that certainly didn’t stop some excellent scoring and strong competition across both A and B Divisions.

Last Wednesday 27th May, the ladies competed for the Patron’s Trophy, kindly sponsored by Marlene Bull. Congratulations to Pam Hood who claimed the A Grade win on a countback with 36 points from Jill Williams, while Liz Ogilvie took out B Grade with an impressive 40 points ahead of Margot Vilde on 35 points.

Today, 3rd June, the ladies contested the Third Monthly Medal, NGC Spoons, International Bowl, SE Medallion, and Veteran’s Trophy. Congratulations to Marlene Bull who won A Division with an excellent nett 76, narrowly ahead of Di McCully on 77. In B Division, Elizabeth Ogilvie continued her strong form, winning with a superb nett 71 from Robyn Talbot on 75. Elizabeth’s outstanding round also earned her the Monthly Medal.

A fantastic day of golf at the Naracoorte Golf Club Championship Finals today. The course was presented in amazing condition and the weather turned it on with good conditions and only minimal wind.

There were some incredible matches across both the men’s and women’s grades, with so many first-time winners making the day even more special. Congratulations to all players who competed and to all our champions and runners-up for a great display of golf.

A big thank you also goes to the referees and all the volunteers who helped make the day such a success. Your time and effort are greatly appreciated.
