Napoleons Sebastopol Cricket Club

Napoleons Sebastopol Cricket Club Welcome to the official page of the Napoleons Sebastopol Cricket Club. We welcome all abilities whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned veteran! 💚

Cricket had been played on an irregular basis in Napoleons since the 1880's, with a team listed in the Ballarat Courier on the 23 December 1890, though it was not until 1904 when Tom Kingston Senior was elected the first president that the official club came into being. Early games were played on a ground at Dog Trap Creek to the north of the township, with the club moving to the present location

in 1918. Today the club fields 4 senior men's teams, junior sides in the u17, u15, u13, u11 competition and a Junior Blasters program for 5-9 year olds.

Hi all,

The Sebastopol RSL is looking for 5 volunteers from the club to carry RSL flags at the Sebas ANZAC Day ceremony. Additionally, the club is looking for 2 members to present our wreath.

The ceremony will take place at 8.30am on Saturday at the Sebastopol Cenotaph on Albert Street, and all of our members who attend are encouraged to wear their club colours.

If you or anyone you know may be interested in helping out, please message Jack Bray.

It is with great sadness that we inform you all of the passing of former club coach Doug Butcher.
We would like to offer our sincere condolences to his wife Marge, son Andrew & family.

Doug had an enormous impact on the club in his tenure as coach in our formative years in the A Grade system.

RIP Dougie.

SEMI FINAL RESULTS 💚💛

A tough weekend with both our Semi Final sides falling short against some very strong teams, but the whole club couldn’t be prouder of their efforts across the season.

A big thank you to everyone who got out to support the boys across Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.

While it wasn’t the finish we were after, we’re already looking ahead and can’t wait to get stuck into next season for another crack at it.
