There’s plenty of bowls coming up:
• State Triples – 20 & 27 September
• State Mixed Pairs – 11 & 18 October
• State Pairs – 25 October & 1 November
• State Singles – 15 & 22 November
• State Fours – 6 & 20 December

🏠 And a big one for Nangi… we’re hosting the Men’s State Triples! 💙🧡

It’d be fantastic to see plenty of our Nangi crew putting their names in and having a go.

Join us for Pasta Night at the Nangiloc and District Bowls Club and help us kick off the return of our monthly club dinners.

A huge thank you to iFix Mildura, who have generously donated a pair of AirPods for us to raffle off on the night!

With no Pennant bowls on Saturday 5 September due to the World Bowls Tournament, it's the perfect opportunity to get together for a relaxed night at the club.

🇦🇺 FLYING HIGH AT NANGI 🇦🇺

Anyone who’s visited the club lately will know the flagpole base has been a bit of a prickly subject 😂 But it’s finally sorted... and no Matthew Andrew this is not AI 😂

A huge thank you to Robert & Fay Groves, who generously donated the new flagpole, flag and plaque in honour of Life Members Syd & Margaret Groves. 💙

It’s now flying proudly over Nangi and is a beautiful tribute to two special members of our club. We reckon Syd & Margaret would love it. ❤️

💚💙 ROUND 2 WRAP UP – GREAT START TO THE WEEKEND! 💙💚

What a way to kick off the weekend with 75% of our Pennant players on the green for Friday night roll-up! 🙌

And it paid off, with Division 2 getting their first win on the board! 👏

🏆 DIVISION 2 – NANGILOC WIN

- Scotty’s rink: 14–23
- Benny’s rink: 30–17 🔥
- Toby’s rink: 22–16 👏

A great team effort to get the job done!

Division 3 had a tougher day away at Red Cliffs, going down 68–48, but there’s plenty of bowls ahead of us.

At the start of a new season, our selectors have the tricky job of finding the right groove across both teams, working with our newcomers and figuring out who gels best with who.

A big thank you to Glenn Scott, Matthew Andrew and Shane Moore for the time, thought and effort they’re putting into our teams each week. It’s not always an easy job, but an important one. 💚💙

Round 1 is done and dusted. While it wasn't the result we were after, with both Nangi divisions going down, it wasn't without a battle! 💪
