Please get involved in a general meeting for Nanango Cricket at 5.30 on Wednesday the 27th of May. Venue TBA. All players and parents are encouraged to attend.

It will be a short meeting as Cricket also needs to attend the AGM of the NSA at 6.30 on the same night. (The NSA is made up of cricket, soccer and kennell club and runs the sports fields). Come along to that one too if you can (most positions should be filled - just need a secretary if you are keen).

Congratulations to Scorpions Alumni Tom Town and Braidyn Scott for their performances in the QCCA U18 games in Townsville over the last 3 days. And more congratulations to Tom for making the QLD Country Cricket U18 team.

They were hard fought games with the Southern team coming out the winner by taking out the final game.

Keep an eye out for Scorpions Alumni Tom Town and Braidyn Scott in these QCCA games in Townsville April 10th and 11th. Good luck!

The Ron Bushby Shield will be played in Townsville this year April.
Both NQCA and SQCC have strong sides making for a very competitive tournament.

Matches will be played Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday12th April at Riverway Stadium.

Officials for the tournament will be:
Umpires: Tony Lindgren and Andrew Firman
Scorers: Steve Hutchinson and Adam Tindale

That is a wrap on our Scorpions 2025-26 Season..

Great day of juniors finals with our Stage 2 & Stage 2 teams going down in the final over in both games.....what an a fantastic effort.

Congratulations to Murgon & District Cricket Club on their victories today.

We also had our presentations this afternoon as well. Congratulations to all of our award winners. Thoroughly well deserved.

Final Games of the season this weekend for our finalist junior teams.

The Nanango Scorpions Stage 3 and Stage 2 (Purple) teams both play in a Grand Final against Murgon starting at 8am. A Stage 1 game will also be played.

And then our Nanango Scorpions end of season presentations and break up will follow at about 1pm.
