A fitness journey isnt about squats.
We want it to be. We want it to be simple and all that, but the truth is the things that hold you back are wide and varied. And until you face them head on, things wont change πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
Change IS weird. Because its new. And different. It changes you perspective on things.

Ive made all the mistakes myself, so my clients don't have to πŸ™‚
In case you need a break from the yay hoorah side of running - here a real true life story of one of my epic race fails:
Tuesday the week before I popped my back out. Like badly.
The night before we stayed in what must have been ivan milats disowned brothers airbnb/outback camp place on a newly purchased and also f*cking terrible camping matress.
No breakfast, bc we didnt think we were staying at ivan milats mates place we thought we were staying somewhere where there were fancy things like running water.
There was a 3am wake for a 4am hour long bumpy hilly shuttle bus, that made me feel super carsick.
7ks in this chatty cathy (but male) decided to pace behind me and just WOULD NOT SHUT UP.
I tweaked my back again over a creek crossing and knew it was over.
Trudged (didnt walk. Trudged) up to the next checkpoint and called it a day.
Happy ending: went back in 2025 and nailed it πŸ™Œ 2025 made for one of my favourite racing experiences ever - even if it was 2k longer than they said.
Costal high- absolutely STUNNING 😍😍😍
Just dont go with a crook back. Or an empty belly. Or start late. Or with a chatty cathy.

Fixing dodgey ankles is actually a lot easier than you think.
It takes me about 3 minutes a day to bulletproof my ankles for the trails.
As an extra tip, I really struggled with this habit - until i paired it with an existing habit (getting my morning coffee).
So theres two tips for your Friday:
1. Fixing your anjles is super easy and this is how you do it
2. If you are struggling to lock in a new habit piggyback it on to an existing habit.
