I got a surprising phone call from police today.

Wanting to know what my plans for tomorrow were.

To be honest, we didn't really have any.

I was told I was the leader- also we don't even have a real group or leader hahaha I'm just moving the needle forward to get s**t done fast, like the petition everyone hustled on.

It's just a mob of concerned parents saying 'woah up guys, is this really necessary!?'

Did you know other schools have been treated on the coast?

Anyway, now we are gonna plan something cus everyone is expecting us to.

Tomorrow, north arm state school 6:30-7 am arrival.

Turn up whenever ya want, I'm not the leader and I ain't making the plans 🫡

I said I wasn't going to get involved, and yet here I am!

The fire ant eradication program has been something I have closely been watching and monitoring, but now it's personally affecting my child.

I am not happy with the decision, as is many other parents.

We are also aware that another school and kindergarten were treated near our area, with no forewarning or notifying of parents.

This is absolutely not ok, with no long term studies completed, how do we know the health implications this will have on our children?

Southern cross university have released an international study with research showing the spread of this poison could actually be aiding the spread and growth in fire ant population, rather than controlling it.

We need to do something else, this isn't the answer

Join us this afternoon, Tuesday the 4th of August at north arm state school to discus and plan our next actions as a group of concerned parents, carers and local residents.

It's ok, I didn't let the chicken actually get her.

I dunno what this chook loves about baby toes, but any chance she gets she is in there pecking at Jamie's little toes

How can you say no to that! 🥺

Jake ducked out for a quick tilt tray job yesterday and I was told to relax, rest my leg and watch a movie with the kids.

So in normal fashion we didn't do that, we instead put music on and had a little dance party. 🫶🏻

It's honestly these tiny little moments that compound into the best experience life has given me, being a mother.
