SCBA Team Competition Results

We wanted to start by saying a big ‘Thank you!’ to all organisers and sponsors who helped make our first team competition of the year a great success. In particular, we want to thank Taek Byeon once again for the help organising the games and keeping the courts constantly full as much as possible. Thank you also to all of the players. The standard of play was the highest we have seen at an SCBA team comp in years and it was a pleasure to watch.

Congratulations to Team 1 Flaming Sushi House for winning overall with a score of 1374 points. Runner up was Team 3 ReKindle Chiropractic with 1314 followed by Team 2 Maroochy Chinese Takeaway and Team 3 Nambour RSL in 3rd and 4th with 1309 and 1271 points respectively.

Lines 1-2 played 6 games to 31 for a maximum possible individual score of 186. Aaron Hor (Nambour RSL) was the highest scoring player with 184 points followed by Andrew Smith (Nambour RSL) with 176 and Nischal (Maroochy CT) with 175 points.

Lines 3-10 played 9 games to 25 for a maximum possible individual score of 225 points. Aashvin Rejeesh (ReKindle) and Will Thompson (ReKindle) both scored 223 points. They were followed closely by Ashlyn Rejeesh, Luke Nguyen and Ulf Lundquist of team Flaming Sushi with 219, 218 and 217 points respectively.

Lastly, our appreciation must go to Matt for filling in on the day in line 10 due to a missing player.

2 mins warm up before each game

All players / bags to be upstairs ,
No exceptions .
Due to the amount of players / bags there is simply not enough space. Only people downstairs will be 4 players & umpire , admin staff ( Gary & team )

Line Calls - Use your best / kindest judgement.
Was it worthy of in , well it was probably in. If you’re unsure, replay it. If you’re on the other side of the net, it’s not your call.

Encourage , support , high five .. 🙌
We are playing for fun , not sheep stations.

Notice 30th SCBA Teams event - Food

There will be no canteen on the day. The closest walking distance food option will be the 7 Eleven Service Station, approx 300m walk .

There will be hot water for noodles available & a microwave you are welcome to use .

Please bring sufficient food ( Carbs if you want energy ) …to last you the day .
