Trail Care this Saturday 9/5 Atkinson road entrance

So a trailcare with a difference, we will meet at Atkinson road entrance and we plan to trim back the trails leading into the park and do a well overdue makeover of the Double Dab trail that starts at the bottom of Phoenix and leads up to the 5 ways. There are a lot of protruding rocks that need moving , some of the corners are rutted and need filling and we need to correct a lot of the drainage to ensure our efforts aren’t wasted. So you can choose to work around the entrance with the trimming or head down to Double Dab for some digging, either walk in or bring your bike and ride down. We will be bringing all the tools and equipment ready to start at 1pm.
Please bring plenty of water and good sturdy footwear, there’s a job for everyone.
See you all on Saturday

The Bushrangers’ Dirty Weekend at HVAP! The AI version... 🚵‍♂️🔔

The Bushrangers and CORCA just wrapped up another classic "dirty weekend" away at Hidden Vale.

The trails didn’t hold back—Scrood Up lived up to its name on the climb, tyres were shredded, derailleurs failed and Riders Creed delivered somersaults and cramps in equal measure. We even had a spectacular "dirt inspection" on Devine (rider is fine, pride is slightly dented!). 🥨

Sleep was a luxury, between the midnight freight trains, the local roosters, and a campground wedding in full swing, the tent city was buzzing! 🥂🚂 Who needs a campfire when you’ve got a wedding reception for entertainment?

The Legend of the Weekend: One of our crew managed to fly down a massive descent before realizing their helmet was still sitting at the top of 500! 🪖💨 High marks for the "extra ventilation" technique, but we’re glad the lid and its owner are now reunited.

Rain might have killed the Saturday fire, but Sunday’s riding conditions were absolute perfection. Huge thanks to the CORCA crew for the laps—nothing beats a dirty weekend with a great crew! 🤘
