JJ’s Landscape & Property Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Property Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone with professional landscape/property maintenance experience who can confidently complete day-to-day maintenance work to a high standard.

THE ROLE

You’ll work across residential, commercial and larger properties throughout the Sunshine Coast, carrying out:

✔ Mowing and edging
✔ Ride-on and zero-turn mowing
✔ Brush cutting / whipper snipping
✔ Hedging and pruning
✔ Garden maintenance
✔ W**d control and herbicide application
✔ Green waste removal
✔ General property maintenance
✔ Equipment care and safe operation
✔ Maintaining a high standard of site presentation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Previous professional landscape/property maintenance experience
• Confident operating commercial maintenance equipment
• Ride-on and/or zero-turn experience
• Strong mowing, brush cutting and hedging skills
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work efficiently and maintain quality
• Comfortable working independently and in a crew
• Current driver’s licence
• White Card preferred
• Herbicide/spraying experience highly regarded

Meet Ashton, one of our Landscape Technicians! 🌿

Ashton's been part of the JJ's team for what feels like forever, and if there's a fencing job on the schedule, he's the first to put his hand up.
When he's not at work, you'll usually find him spending time with his family.

Now for the important stuff... Ashton firmly believes that apples just taste better on Tuesdays. 🍎 We're still waiting for him to explain the science behind that one! 😂

If you asked the crew to describe him in one word, they'd probably say... "Slow." (Don't worry, Ashton was the one who said we could use that! 😆)

👋 Meet the Team – Burnie

Say hello to Burnie, one of our Maintenance Technicians! 🌿

Burnie has been with JJ’s for around 3 months and, when it comes to work, you’ll find him happiest behind a mower taking care of the big open lawns. 💪🌱

Outside of work, Burnie spends his time sim racing and raising his daughter — and apparently he’s pretty handy behind a virtual wheel too! 🏎️💨

Fun fact: Burnie is ranked in the Top 50 in Australia in sim racing on GT7! 🏆

If you asked the crew to describe him in one word?
😂 “Probably weird.”

But his favourite part about being at JJ’s probably says the most about him:

💚 “Being a part of the journey, knowing the business’s success will equally reflect on each and every one of us.”
