This fast-paced and unique sport is making waves around the world — and for good reason! Underwater hockey blends the skills of freediving, swimming, and traditional hockey into an exciting game played mostly below the surface. Players use short sticks to push a weighted puck across the bottom of the pool, relying on breath control, agility, and teamwork to outplay the opposition. It is a great sp

ort that builds lung capacity, underwater speed, and comfort beneath the surface. But just as important as fitness and skill is the ability to work together, read the play, and contribute to a tight-knit team. If you're looking for a new challenge that’s fun, physically demanding, and completely different — give underwater hockey a go!

💦🤿 Ever played hockey… underwater? 🤿💦

This Friday, we’re hosting an Underwater Hockey Beginners Night - and yes, it’s exactly as cool as it sounds.

No experience needed, no pressure, just fun, fast-paced action beneath the surface.
We’ll show you the basics, lend you the gear, and get you gliding, diving, and scoring in no time. 🏒🐠

If you love trying something new, meeting great people, or just want an excuse to play in the pool, this is your sign.

👉 Come give it a go this Friday, you might just find your new favourite sport.

When: 5:00pm
Where: Nambour Aquatic Center
What to bring:
- togs/bathers
- mask and snorkel if you have one
- pool fins if you have them

No experience required other than basic swimming ability

Kings Cup 2024 - UWH Club Championships

Good luck to the teams competing at 2024 Kings Cup. We will aim to have the first draft of the draw out by 1 June.

*the following teams are non-Aus club teams and can play finals but can't receive medals:
A Grade: ColoAmazons, Platydawgs (AUS U24M), Aussie Aubergines (AUS U19M)
B Grade: Singapore (international club), Flaming Galahs (AUS U19W)
