Nambour Bowls Club Ladies Fiesta 2026 💚💛
What a fantastic day at Nambour Bowls Club for our Ladies Fiesta!
We welcomed 26 teams (104 bowlers) who arrived ready for a great day of bowls. Play got underway at 9.00 am with the first two games over 12 ends. There were some very close contests, while others were won by bigger margins, and after the second game and lunch the leaderboard had certainly changed.
Congratulations to our winners!
🥇 1st Place: Club Maroochy – skipped by Jane Mantle with 3 wins +40.
🥈 2nd Place: Jess Parolin with 3 wins +36.
🥉 3rd Place: Kawana – skipped by Fay Whittaker with 3 wins +34.
Last Round Winners: Jill Guthrie's team, also finishing with 3 wins and the biggest winning margin of the final game at +23.
It was a wonderful day of friendly competition, great sportsmanship and plenty of close games.
A huge thank you to our amazing Nambour ladies who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure 104 bowlers were well fed throughout the day. Thank you also to Gerry, our stalwart behind the bar, who kept everyone refreshed throughout the day.
