Join us for Six weeks of Tuesday afternoon 7s action, with each team playing two games per afternoon in a fun, festival-style, non-competitive atmosphere — all about enjoyment, development, and good vibes 🌟🎶

Calling all Mid North Coast Rugby Juniors! Gordon Rugby - The Highlanders Colts will be running a free clinic for junior players of all ages on Saturday 24th of Feb. This will be a non-contact, rugby-based game session for boys and girls interested in developing their rugby skills. Junior players, coaches and parents from all clubs are welcome. The canteen and bar will be open.

🚨🚨Calling all interested Rugby players🚨🚨

The Mid North Coast Junior Rugby Union along with NSW Rugby staff have extended an amazing offer to the youth of the Southern Mid North Coast.

With a plan mapped out to provide some genuine rugby playing outcomes.

The Coffs Coast Rugby Challenge is being held on April 20 & 21 this year and we intend to enter teams. It is a 10 a side tournament so our entries will be based on interest.

The age groups for this competition are:
U10 - mixed boys and girls
U11 - mixed boys and girls
U12 - mixed boys and girls
U13 - Boys
U14 - Boys
U16 - Boys

U14 - Girls
U16 - Girls

I’m very exciting news Port Macquarie Junior Rugby Union have invited us to enter teams into their Friday night competition- this will include scheduling of “home” games in our area. This is all dependent on how many players are keen to play and in what age groups.

We will be provided with administrative and coaching support from NSW Rugby to help us get things running.

Calling all boys and girls aged 6yrs to 12yrs keen to learn how to play Rugby Union.
An expression of Interest to join Port Macquarie Juniors Rugby Pathway.
Players and families in ForsterTuncurry, Taree, Old Bar, Wingham, we are looking to convoy to Port Macquarie Friday nights for competitive rugby opportunities.

• Season is likely to run from mid march till early July.
• All games are played in port macquarie at Stuart Park
• youngest age groups at 4.30 with the last game finishing around 7.30pm
• BBQ and team bonding opportunities each week.

Port Macquarie Juniors Rep team is the Manta Rays for u9, u10,u 11 and u 12.
The 10s will be going to the state champs and the under 12s will be going to the TAS Rugby carnival at Armidale.
If interested in representative rugby, you must complete a EOI form and are available on the port juniors page.
• Mid North Coast trials have EOIs out for all age groups aswell and that is on our juniors page and also the Mid North coast page.

Thank you Forster Fortnightly for a great write up and a cover page, sharing u11s and u13s results and letting everyone know the U15s and U17s are happening now here in Forster Tuncurry.

Right now there is 57 teams from all over NSW between men and women u15s and u17s, over 4000 people here celebrating Junior Rugby Sevens.

Noah Dodds is the only person in our zone playing this weekend, representing Hunter Junior Rugby Union Wildfires
U15s got a win in the first game against Manly Marlins Rugby.

Day 2 of 2023 State Sevens U11s and U13s was epic.
All players and teams are evolving, loving rugby culture, dancing onto the fields and enjoying the fast flowing rugby.

Azayah, playing with West Harbour 2 from 3 wins today.
Ruby, playing with Western Plains, nil wins today, huge growth in this team.

Our u11s Boys after 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses, our boys are developing into young superstars.
This team was formed on 5 days before the tournament and had 1 training session.

Epic day 1 of NSW Statve Sevens in Forster Tuncurry for the age groups U11s and U13s.

We had many girls step up and play for West Harbour Juniors Rugby U13s girls and Western Plains Juniors Rugby U13s. Watching the local girls was great and inspiring for the future.

Now to U11s, 5 days ago we didn't have a team, 90% of these boys have never played rugby before.
At 4 games our boys have learnt so much and have also gone through undefeated.

Huge congratulations to everyone today.
At the end of today, after all points and wins, I am proud to announce our Mid North Coast U11 boys are ranked 2nd in State Sevens.

Under 11s Rankings - determined off win/loss ratios and points differential.

This weekend in Forster Tuncurry there is 1000s of extra youth with their families running around playing Rugby Sevens.

U11s and U13s State Sevens Rugby for NSW Rugby is being held at Forster-Tuncurry Dolphins Rugby Club.

We at Southern Eagles are so excited and proud of the following youth are having a run and representing the Lower Mid North Coast (Forster, Nabiac, Taree, Oldbar, Gloucester), learning and playing a game of contact sport, that's fast and exciting to play, that's played all around the world including at the Olympics.
