🙌 Backroads Gravel wouldn't be possible without our incredible volunteers — and registrations are now open for 2026!
Whether you're directing riders on course, manning an aid station, welcoming participants at registration, or cheering on finishers in the recovery area — every role makes a huge difference to everyone's day out in the Fields of Gold.
In return, you can expect a great day, lunch, refreshments, and a volunteer t-shirt. If you've volunteered with us before, a massive thank you — we'd love to have you back.

Showers, toilets, and security all on-site. Bookings are separate to event registration.

Backroads Gravel is back with rides and runs for every level. Long, short, fast, steady.
Bring your mates, bring your crew, or just bring yourself.

🚴Cycling options include the 100 Mile Big Canola, the 100KM Fields of Gold, the 65KM Lupin Loop, the 20KM Farmroad Flyer, and the 10KM Gravel Groms.

🏃Running options include the marathon, the new half marathon, the 14KM run, and the 5KM run.
