We had 4 winners from different events today. 21 players.
Lizzie Orton (one of the NE Team members who defeated Dalhousie in the 2026 match play challenge played at Benalla last month) won the 18 hole SF event with 38 fine pts, rup Kerry Newton 35.
Suzette Kelly topped the 9 holers with 16 pts.
Ball winners Carolyn Prowse 34pts c/b from Kerry Chapman, Wendy Caldwell 33.
The two Kerrys both had a NTP - Kerry N 1st, Kerry C 14th.
In the Ian O’May match play challenges - 1 v 4 - Marnie Broz v Barb Welch - Marnie won 1 up on the 18th.
2 v 3 Helen Mummery v Lyn Dwyer - Lyn victorious 3/1.

Today we hosted the Local Round 1 of the NEDGA Junior Challenge. The top players have now been nominated to represent our catchment at Round 2 against other North East clubs, and my word, did they play some great golf! Congratulations to our winners, and thank you to all the juniors that participated and the volunteers on the day.

22 players played today in the BWS Stroke event, we welcomed Dylan and Robert.
Many of our players supported the Bright Tournament, best score, Gordon Wallace.
Winner of A grade was Jon Mercuri, net 71, runner up David Rowe.
Winner of B grade was Trout Batt, excellent net 70, runner up Pieter Veldman on a countback from Andrew Loftus, net 71.
Super Six winner Dick Matthews, runner up Buggsie Bynon.
