The AGM for the Mypolonga Combined Sports Club will be held on Friday 26 June and we’d love some new faces to get involved.

Our committee plays an important role in supporting the success of our affiliate clubs and helping provide the best possible facilities for our community, members and families.

Whether you can contribute a little or a lot, we’d love to hear from you.

Areas where you could help include:

• Events & Fundraising
• Grounds & Maintenance

🖤💛OUR PLAYGROUND IS IN! 💛🖤
**NOTE: Please stay off it this weekend - the kiddos can start using it from Monday**

Special thankyou once again to Mulch N More for donating the 40-cubic metres of softfall bark chips, and to Zac Bailey from Affordable Tree Solutions for hanging around tonight and spreading it all out for us.

It's been a huge two days for our volunteers - Steve, Ben, Zac, Brad, Corey, Paul, Brian (and especially for the real hero Alecia Anastasiou who fed them all 😅). But the feedback fom ForPark Playgrounds supervisors, was that these guys were exceptional. Only drawback, was that Steve wasn't allowed to test it out this afternoon.

Don't worry, it won't stay a dirt patch for long - we have some more work to come on the landscaping around the playground, so stay tuned for more activity on site over the next couple of weeks.

Thanks again to all involved - we can't wait to see the kids climbing all over it against Imps next weekend!

🐯 GOOD NEWS FOR FAMILIES! 👧👶🧒👦👱‍♀️
🖤Our new playground is only a few days away. 💛

This Thursday and Friday, our new Tiger-themed, all-ages playground will be installed by some willing local volunteers. And after we let the concrete dry, and fill the big hole with some softfall - it will be ready to use next week!

**Important: Please stay away from the construction site at training this week and any subsequent visits on Friday/Saturday, as we install it stafely and let it set. It will be fenced off, but please ensure you pass this message on to the kiddos - we know they're going to be excited!

This doesn't happen without an army of helpers behind the scenes, during the install + sponsors though:

💛The biggest thankyou to our volunteers Zac Bailey, Steve Thiele, Ben Burdett, Corey Jones, Paul Anastasiou and Brad Girdler who are giving up their time to install with Forpark over this period (and Alecia Anastasiou for bringing the team their lunches over these two days). Don't forget to shout these guys a beer if you see them!

🖤 Thanks to Duke and the legends from Mulch N More for once again sponsoring us with the supply of all our softfall bark chips (these guys also donated to our temp nature play last year too!). Great community champions.

💛 Thanks to Simon Kruger and Daish Irrigation for helping us source and deliver the 80x bags of concrete to the site.

🖤 Thanks to our club volunteers (footy, netball, football, oval, cricket) for the extra meetings/research/admin to ensure we can get the location right.

💛 And of course - to the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (SA Government) for the funding from the Thriving Regions Infrastructure Funding Program (TRFIP). Without this, it wouldn't be possible!

This also marks another exciting milestone in our sports complex upgrades, following from courts, lights, power and wastewater upgrades (more updates to come on the changerooms/canteen building soon).

We can't wait to see the kids enjoying this at our next home game against Imperials on Saturday, 16 May.
